Inferno/Burn Deck - Gondram Hey all, my name is Gondram. I'm going to outline an Inferno Tempest/Burn deck for y'all. This deck works beautifully against the Cookie-Cutter Chaos Control and Beatdown decks that are much too prevelant these days. It's built around using Inferno Tempest to remove all monster cards from both player's decks and graveyards from play, then slowly (or in some cases very quickly) burning the opponent's lp away. So here's the deck. Monsters:(16) Peten The Dark Clown x3 Solar Flare Dragon x3 Ultimate Baseball Kid x2 Ojama Green Ojama Yellow Ojama Black Lava Golem x3 Raging Flame Sprite x2 Spells:(14) Inferno Tempest x3 Scapegoat x3 Ojama Delta Force x2 Soul Absorption x3 Chaos End x2 Pot of Greed Traps:(12) Gravity Bind x3 Return From Different Dimension x2 Graverobber's Retribution x3 DNA Transplant x2 Type Zero Magic Crusher x2 Total Cards: 42 Now at first this plays like a burn/stall deck. Peten does his thing. Gravity Bind protects UBK, Solar Flare Dragon, and Raging Flame Sprite as they do their damage. UBK and Solar Flare Dragon both benefit from DNA Transplant. But then, when I get the chance, I play Inferno Tempest. It can take a while for one's opponent to play a 3000+ atk monster, so I speed things up with Lava Golem. Simply summon him onto the field, and when the opponent attacks with him play scapegoat or gravity bind. Attack the laval golem with a sheep token. Activate Inferno Tempest. Use Chaos End to remove any existing monsters. Activate Graverobber's Retribution. Watch opponent lose lp rapidly. Cool Combos: 1. Have Soul Absorbtion active when you play Inferno Tempest. Official rulings say you get 500 lp per card removed from play. That usually ends up being around 18,000 lp. That's a lot. 2. Play type Zero Magic Crusher and get rid of all your extra spell cards. You're gonna have extra Inferno Tempests and Soul Absorptions, why not put them to good use? 3. Activate Return from the Different Dimension, getting your Ojama's on the field, then play Ojama Delta Force. All those spell and trap cards your opponent has been drawing? Gone. 4. Activate Return from the different dimension and bring in UBK and four other fire monsters. Attack for at least 4500 damage before discarding the other four for 2000 lp damage. 5. Activate DNA Transplant. Combine 3 and 4. 6500 lp damage. By this period of the game that usually ends things. This deck is the most fun I've played, if only for the variance in how things play out.
