The Toughest Duelist- A lonely Prophet ---------- Original Message ---------------------------------- From: alonelyprophet@aol.com Date: Sat, 02 Apr 2005 18:18:38 -0500 First off, let me thank you for actually choosing to read this article, I realize there are a lot of stupid articles sent to the tip section, and it may be hard to pick one. Second, to that guy who said, hey, speak your mind here, that's what the section is for, NO, that is what the message boards are for. Okay, now onto what the article is really about, the world's toughest duelist. By tough, I mean how committed you are to the game, not how good you are. The duelist who sits outside of Toys r' Us for an hour in the cold wind just to duel some half decent duelists (I am not referring to myself and I have never actually got to go to a Toys r' Us league, this article is not created to glorify myself). All the duelists complaining about unoriginality, and the ban list, and what Konami's doing, Just shut up, you're not special and no one wants to here you complain. You should be so lucky just to be able to duel once a week if not more. Anyone who can duel every week is a lot more lucky than a lot of duelists. Many people, not everyone, assume that everyone who went to nationals are the best, but you don't know. Over half the dueling community is unregistered so you have no idea who is the best. There is probably no way to determine that (unless a series of those question on how to win the duel in one turn) Three of the world's recognize duelists live in my town and I have never met them and have no idea where they duel. The point is, the best duelist is undiscovered. What if I was the best duelist (impossible considering I have no BLS but still) I'm not registered, my registered league doesn't have a league so I'm screwed. Have a swiss-style tourney with every duelist, that would be sweet. Please e-mail with your opinion, I don't get any real mail. AlonelyProphet@aol.com
