The One-Turn-Stall traps by Sean ---------- Original Message ---------------------------------- From: seanslcars@comcast.net Date: Tue, 05 Apr 2005 09:10:17 +0000 Hey it’s me Sean again. I’m back. I took a break over Easter break, but I’m back. SEAN’S IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: I have my own website now! Feel free to click around www.seanzhomepage.freeservers.com. Custom page 1 is my yugioh page. This is about the "you can’t attack me this turn traps". The four top ones are threatening roar, waboku, hallowed life barrier, and curse of anubis. Here we go, one by one. Threatening Roar/Waboku: Personally I prefer waboku to this one. Sometimes it can actually be helpful to get your opponent into battle phase and then shut them down. Don’t get me wrong, this is an awesome trap, and whether you take this or waboku is a matter of taste. Hallowed Life Barrier: Can you say bad hand management? This card should be used exclusively in sidedecks to counter burn. Otherwise, the cost is just too high, especially now that discard requiring cards like magic jammer, tribe infecting virus, lightning vortex etc. Side deck a couple if you want. But this card should be used sparingly. Curse of Anubis: In my opinion, this is the best of the bunch. It’ll stop your opponent’s attacks dead in their tracks (no rhyme intended), and also is lethal against the chaos monsters and Horus LV8 as examples of how it can basically take out all the high level monsters (save for jinzo of course) by setting them up in DEF mode with 0 DEF points, easy kills. I recommend you run at least one, at the very least keep this in your side deck. Comments? Questions? My email is seanslcars@comcast.net and my AIM screenname is NazGul0010. I’m not one of those people that says "No hatemail please". I love reading that stuff. Until next time-SetoKaibafan13
