Ban list Anaysis-Alex Goodman
Yes, I'm back with yet another article on the ban (who knows when I'll quit with the ban articles) This time, I will analyze on whether these cards were rightfully banned and also talk about cards that should've been banned instead, and cards that could possibly be banned.

                                        *I Analysis*

#1 Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the end (no, I will not write these cards' effects because you should know by now anyway)
Wow wow wow. I wrote a whole article on this card saying why it possibly should be un-banned. You know he's one of the most broken cards in the game: easy summon, massive burnage, great stats, and most of all, the chaos lock. But even with priority, More and more ways of stopping comme out, too bad this was after the ban. For more info, read my first article :"The truth about CED"
Unbanned?: Possibly, probably not.
Rightfully banned?: in most cases, but not all

#2 Dark Hole
average joes don't find this card broken. They'll say it has drawbacks, duh! But this card was still banned. Mass monster removal is always a good draw. It is especially good in an opening draw. Mass monster removal was the main theme of the ban. A card doesn't have to have no drawbacks to be banned.
Unbanned?: Unles if theme of no monster remoal changes, otherwise, no.
Rightfully banned?: Yes. nothing major, just yes.

#3 Delinquent Duo: When you were a n00b, you may have gotten this card and called it junk. You were probably given a lot for it. Well, if you felt bad about that, you are now happy its banned. But the real joy of banning this is that this was the best opening hand draw, period. better than pot of greed even. cutting off your oponents hnd in the beginning of the duel will severly limit his options and give you a major advantage. It was not only banned because it sped up yata locks, because it was still too advantagous.
Unbanned?: Doubt it.
Rightfully Banned?: Yes

#4 Graceful Charity: Another surprising addition to the ban list. Again, like dark hole, it has drawbacks, but it also has drawbacks that can be used to your advantage, just like hole. Plenty of combos revolve around this card, like discarding a light and dark and summoning BLS, or discarding sinister for hand advantage, or just simply dumping a high level monster and reborning it. Hand advantage and dumping in one are pretty hard to beat.
Unbanned?: Possibly, but it shouldn't, IMO
Rightfully Banned?: yeah

#5 Harpies feather duster
I really don't see the point in analyzing cards like this and Raigeki. They had no drawbacks. This one was heavystorm that didn't destroy your s/t cards either. Boken, although inferior to Raigeki and overpriced, still broken and annoying.
Unbanned?: Why would that happen?
Righfully Banned: No drawbacks and Gamewinning effect, so yeah.

#6 Imperial Order
Obviosly to most, this card was ban list material, but why was this banned and not Jinzo? Well, both of them are excellent negators, both PSV secrets (jinzo the 000) and they both seem to appear in every deck. But remember, Jinzo is a tribute monster, hard to get out, and now even harder because reborn and graceful were banned. Imperial is way easy to use because you can activate it the instant your opponent plays a magic card and ruin there stratedgy or a whole turn, and since the cost is optional, you can just call a free magic jammer. Or, if in a desaperate situation, just pay a measly cost to shut down your opponent. In advanced format, this would be nearly unstoppable, only by breaker, a chained MST, or a dust tornado. There are more, but, you hardly see them nowadays.
Unbanned?: Only because of possibility of being stopped.
Rightfully Banned?: yes, but not everyone says so.

#7 Mirror Force
Ok, this was where Konami got a bit stupid. Yes, this card is game breaking, the best trigger trap, and will be hard to get rid of in advanced format. but this card was also a trigger trap, and triggers can take time to activate. If this card could detroy all of your opponents monstrers, it would righfully be banned.
Unbanned?: Definately
Righfully Banned?: NO

#8 Monster Reborn
Yes, n00bs were amazed that this card was banned. They would use the excuse that this card was used in every deck and was so good. But the purpose of the ban was to get rid of such cards, and this one had so many ways in its effect to srew up your opponent. Like if your opponent dumps a strong monster, just reborn it and you get advantage. And also, we have Premature and call of the haunted, two cards with the same effects as Reborn but with small drawbacks and they couldn't access your opponents graveyard. The most righfully banned card, IMO
Unbanned?: No, Why?
Righfully Banned?: Read the last sentence.

#9 Raigeki
Yawn, replace the words in the analysis for HFD. replace s/t with monsters, and replace heavystorm with dark hole.
Unbanned?: Don't psh your luck
Rightfully Banned?: Without a doubt.

#10 and 11 Sangan and Witch of the black forest
All I have to say is that they are the greatest searchers in the game and had few drawbacks. Some duelists even consider these monster staples. But hey were not, in my opinion, righfully banned because they were stoppable.
Unbanned?: Eventually
Rightfully Banned?: Not really

#12 United We Stand
Yes, this equip is not the most solid, it's overrated. But in advvanced format, thats not the case. The main reason this was banned was because Dark Hole was. This could give your opponent a great head-ache to get rid of. But hey, the only reason this was banned, like I said was the diminishof monster removal.
Unbanned?: If Hole and Mirror Force are Unbanned.
Righfully Banned? In most cases, but not all.

#13 Yata Garasu
Saved for last, we review the most oppresed, most abused, and almost the most broken monsters in the game. yes, Yata has given us all headaches for a while now. This bird screamed unoriginality (althoough I am sick of people moaning about this) and anyone who could get there hands on this crow could EASILY build a deck around it. It also Combos Perfectly with the more broken but overrated CED. With the most decks built around a monster ever, we see it all.
Unbanned?: Nevr, Or we quit (jk) but still, no.
Rightfully Banned?: Yay! I hate you!

                                       *II These Should've been banned*
Now, I'll talk about a few cards that should've been banned.
#1 Fiber Jar
I curse this card to.. Ok, I know tthis card is overrated, but it should've been banned. It allowed n00bs to re-use other broken cards. Also, this card really hurts cookie cutters, and especially can hurt you if you attack it while face down. You will have no monsters to protect you, and worse, if your new hand is all monsters, your wide open. And lLP doesn't reset, so If your low, this card can spell gamee for you.

#2 Change Of heart
Although inferior to Monster Reborn, This card was a solid control card that could
A Take a face down monster and steal there flip effect.
B Give you field advantage
C deny them of their monster zone for a turn.
Snatch steal and Creature Swap were not htis solid. Thats all to say.

#3 Painful Choice
I love this card, but it shoukld be banned because we have reborn banned. You can now play this with little risk.
