Upper Deck and Konami are doing something seriously wrong. If you haven't realized they're tearing the value out of rarer cards by making them commons in decks and easy to get in tins! For example, look at the Axe of Despair that it took you 2 months and $48 worth of booster packs to get. Guess what! It's coming out in the Evo decks as a common! A STINKIN' COMMON! Also your MegaMorph that took more of your time and more of your $ to get! Same thing as Axe. :( One of my friends says this, " Soon my deck is going to be a <bleep> wad of commons! All the cards I worked hard to get, like the Beast of Talwar and Marauding Captain, are either coming in a deck or coming out in a tin. " Another one says this, " Pretty soon a newbie could be able to beat a long-time veteran like me ( he started right when MRL came out ) in 5 turns! " I worked out this grid in my head according to how many CCG Strategies and Tournament Reports I've read on Pojo.com. 50% of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG players love Upper Deck and Konami for putting all these rare cards in decks and tins. 25% of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG players hate Upper Deck and Konami for putting these cards in the decks as commons and cards that you know for sure that you're going to get ( my side obviously, duh :O, otherwise I probably wouldn't be typing this rant right now ). The other 25% percent have no clue whatsoever about rarity and its meaning. They're basically tearing the whole game apart by doing this crap to us which makes us want to quit, meaning Yu-Gi-Oh! is a failed idea that went straight down the pooper. Think back to the old days where people loved the Dark Magician without the MFC pack out and thought that the Blue Eyes White Dragon was unbeatable and invincible. You may think that they were giant idiots but the game should have stayed that way. Do you realize that when Dark Crisis was first released they bumped another Secret Rare card off the list of usability? Gemini Elf was a very usable monster. Until the DCR pack came out. They replaced its usability with the Archfiend Soldier. The Archfiend Soldier is only a rare but Gemini is a secret. Also more than likely Upper Deck and Konami are going to strip Magic Cylinder and all the other very valuable cards of LON and put them in decks or tins. PSV has two actually good cards. The first one is Jinzo, who's value has already been ripped out with the release of the 2003 tins. The other is only for water decks and is The Legendary Fisherman. PSV is useless. And everyone knows that ever since the newer packs came out, LOB and MRL are completely useless. And MRD are packed with stinky rares and even worse commons. Both its secrets are horrible. The only good cards are the Supers and Ultras.

So why are you so excited in the packs in a tin? All the other value stripped cards in the game including the featured card on your tin you just got make the cards useless. If I could own Upper Deck and Konami I would drastically change the way the cards are given out. First of all, I would make it so the featured card on a tin wouldn't come inside, but the boosters would. Second, I'd make all new cards for the Starter Decks and put in cards that aren't too rare in and if they were essentials for the deck I'd put them in. And third, I wouldn't rip the power out of other cards with new cards that are way too powerful for the game. Wouldn't the game be better if it were more like the show where cards are as hard to get as they're supposed to be? I hope you understand me and we can convince Upper Deck and Konami to do things a better way.
