Beatdown stuff.... by SnappinNexx

I'm so tired of people writiing in about how beatdowns suck... All of you 
are complaining about the lack or originality in Yu-Gi-Oh.  What about the 
lack of originality in complaining about Yu-Gi-Oh?  Doesn't that deserve 
some space???  Seriously...


All you haters need to realize that the reason beatdowns are popular is 
because THEY WIN, BOTTOM LINE.  It seems to me that people are just mad 
because they lose.  Beatdown is beatdown, as far as I'm concerned.  But 
that's not to say there isn't originality in beatdown decks....

I'm not saying Beasts and Beast-Warriors are a new archetype, but Beast 
beatdowns are a step-up from the common "GAF, Gemini Elf, Spear Dragon" 
beatdown.   These decks take patience and dedication to work.  It's not as 
easy as it seems...

And while all of you are complaining about beatdown decks, think about what 
you are probably playing with.  Raise your hand if you don't play w/ gemini 
elf, luster dragon, skillled dark, or goblin attack force... 
anybody?  Anybody???  Ok, so no one... Meanwhile, you bash beatdowns until 
you can't breathe.  What's that all about?  And you complain about the lack 
of originality.  There is a reason certain cards are in every deck.... 
they're good cards.  Now, don't get me wrong, I hate Yata as much as 
anyone, but it's the most effective monster in Yu-Gi-Oh. Jinzo, 
Tribe-Infecting Virus, Exiled Force... these cards work.  Why be mad at 
players of the game when your beef is really w/ Konami and Upper 
Deck?  Don't hate someone because they use cards that are effective.  Hate 
Konami for making such broken cards...  If I offended anyone, well.... deal 
with it.   Don't be mad because I speak the truth.  Hate on the people that 
make the cards, not the people that use them, because really, you're hating 
yourself.  Thanks for taking the time to listen.  If you disagree, my inbox
