Magic Cylinder is said to be bad, and should be replaced by RoD or the like. Read on.

People like Ring of Destruction so much, but what is a good combo is when you use both at once!

Say that your opponent has their [almighty] Vampire Lord on the field. You have no monsters, and the only cards on your field are Cylinder and RoD. They go for a direct attack, you activate Cylinder. They lose 2000 LP. Next, before they end their turn, you nuke the VLord with the Ring. So far, you've denied them an attack, killed their evil monster, and given them 4000 Damage. Sure, VLord will come back on their next turn, but that's when you go in for a huge attack before it can revive.

Just think about that for a while.

You think Cylinder is so bad because of a 'certain 6-star, 2400 ATK named Jinzo'. What you don't realize is that Jinzo stops ALL traps, not just ones named 'Magic Cylinder'.

It may not be chainable like Waboku or RoD, but it's still one of the best cards for turning the duel around and dealing heavy damage.

Even if you don't use it, a face-down card they keep looking at every time they're about to attack can save you some agony.

Metallica is the only true metal band. It was the first, and will be the last.
