The Anti-Chaos Strategy Guide - Kirk Davis Anti - Chaos Strategies The Uber List I run weekly unsanctioned tournaments in central maine. For the past 1.5 months, if you owned a Chaos card, you won. That's all there is to it. So, I've been trying to find cards combos, single cards and other strategies to avoid the Chaos creatures from hitting the field. More specifically, the two Envoy cards. So, let's get to it then. CARDS/COMBOS: Despair From The Dark/Fear From The Dark - When these monsters are discards from your hand due to your opponent's CED, they'll be special summoned, preventing Yata Lock. Dimension Jar - Removing Light and/or Dark creatures from your opponent's graveyard. Dark Scorpion Chick, Cliff, Don & Gorg (also w/ DS Combo works better)- All of these cards either discard a card from your opponents hand or send a card from the deck to the graveyard. You may need a bit of luck, but doing this is better then waiting around for the Chaos monsters. MetalSilver Armor - This card will actually prevent the Envoy's summoning, since monsters in their graveyard can't be targeted. My Body As A Shield - Since CED's effect would destroy "1 or more monsters", this card is useable. Soul Release - Remove Light and/or Dark creatures from their graveyard. The Secret Of The Bandit - Try to discard the Chaos creatures from their hands Disappear - Remove a Light or Dark creature before they get the chance to special summon Trap Dustshoot - You can see if they have a chaos monster in their hand. If they do, you can make them shuffle it back in. Lesser Fiend - Remove monsters from the game rather then allow them to remain in the graveyard to be used as special summon fodder. Jowgen the Spiritualist - He prevents Special Summons. Period. Great Phantom Thief - Call the Chaos monster you think they have. If they do, it's gone Kycoo The Ghost Destroyer - No removing creatures from either graveyard equal no envoys Guardian Sphinx - If you can bounce creatures to their hand rather then allow them to touch the graveyard, that'll stall them long enough for you to swoop in quick for the kill Banisher of the Light - Removes all destroyed monsters from play, preventing envoy summoning D.D. Crazy Beast - Same as Lesser Fiend D.D. Warrior Lady - Same as Lesser Fiend Confiscation - 1000 LPs well spent if they're holding a Chaos monster Dark Designator - Use this in combination with a discarding effect like... D.D. Designator - Call the Chaos monster you think (or know) they have and it's removed from play. Delinquent Duo - More discarding to try and get rid of a chaos monster Exchange - Their chaos monster just became your chaos mosnter Monster Recovery - At the very least, it softens the blow by CED or prevents BLS from removing a creature Necrovalley - Graveyard-based effects like removing from the graveyard are nixed Prohibition - Call the chaos you think they have The Forceful Sentry - Make them shuffle their chaos monster back in their deck Big Burn - Last resort to prevent CED or BLS's summoning Drop Off - Who knows? You might get lucky Horn Of Heaven - Negate the special summon Royal Oppression - Negate the special summon Skill Drain - Negate their special abilities Solemn Judgement - Negate the special summon Kirk Davis Kirk.Davis@umit.maine.edu
