Here a Ban, There a Ban, Everywhere a Ban!~ KuroKarasu
Ever since my list of the Top Ten Banworthy cards, I have gotten mixed reactions. One stuck out to me in particular (I shall name no names). This is it, in a brief statement: " What banlist?! You must be a really bad duelist, you've probably never used ANY of the cards you mentioned, and who said this thing was coming to America?"

Now, who here can tell me what's wrong with that statement? Well, first off, the banlist is the best idea since...Well, it's the best idea in the world, because the "sliced bread" thing is overused, and sliced bread isn't so great anyways.

At this point, I bet a lot of you are saying the same thing that e-mail said: You may think that the banlist is for wimps who can't afford Imperial Order, Yata, Raigeki, and the like, so they get their butts kicked all the time. That's NOT TRUE. In fact, some VERY good players, as in tournament winners, have agreed with me.

Why was the Banlist created, then? Do all of you remember the sets Magician's Force, Legacy of Darkness, and Dark Crisis? What do they all have in common? They all have THEMES. These themes were created so that they would be PLAYED, and not just casually, either. Think good and hard about that before you diss those who favor the banlist.

"Well, Raigeki and HFD are just too good to ban," you say? Yes, that's why they and the other cards were banned. They have too powerful an effect at little to no cost to the user. Now, if they stole your soul to use them...That'd be almost neat. (Haha, kidding, there...Or am I?)

This will NOT break the game, like some may think. If you would REALLY quit the game just because you can't use a cheap Yata combo, then you really don't deserve to be playing this game at all.
