New Deck Ideas 2 - Shuriken

Hey guys, Shuriken here again, with a follow up to my first article of new deck ideas. This one will delve more into some commonly used deck, but it will show you how to add your own unique flavor.

1 Zombie
Every typical zombie deck uses Despair From the Dark, which is a great card. But there is one very under looked card,l Dark Dust Spirit. This lvl 6 2200 atk monster destroys all other face up mons other than himself

Possible combo: Dark Dust Spirit + Book of Moon, flip your mons face down at the end of your opponents turn, then play the Spirit, flip the other mons face up after it's effect goes through, then u get a nice big hit. Another underlooked combo is very easy to recognize, Vamp Lord + Staunch Defender. If they have some weak monsters, force them to attack V-Lord with Staunch Defender. You can deal some damage, and thin out their deck of anything you want.

2. Chaos
The most un-unique deck there is. There is one way to make it original, use Magical Merchant. Dump some Light/Dark mons in the grave and get a spell/trap. Works wonders for ya. Another thing to do is only use Chaos Sorceror. THe other guys are great, but Chaos Sorcerer can be just as good. Bust out a Sorcerer and remove the Black Luster or Dragon, witch, sangan, anything face up.

3. Beatdown
The cookie-cutter deck, as I call them, are really really easy to make unique. Add some unorthodox monsters, or make a beatdown variation. A light beatdown, with Airknight, Maha Vailo, and equips can be a game winner. A Ritual beatdown, such as Dark Master Zorc or Shinato - King of a Higher Plane, can be fun. As for unorthodox, maybe add some cards to counter beatdowns, like Kelbek or Wall of Illusion, this will annoy and ultimately get the opponent all riled up and confused about your strategy

Remember this, above all, you the type of deck you like, experiment until you find it. As for me I like annoyance, and that it what I run as of current. Just don't make a cookie-cutter deck, because that not original, and it's taking credit and wins for someone elses deck. Even switching one or two cards, will make your deck more unique, and that's what this game needs now, uniqueness.
