Subject: Tips on how to make a full light deck. by Vision Avariel

first of all please dont say a full light deck dont work i have used a 
working light deck type when MRL came out and i quite love it so hear it is 
and please keep a open mind


as a light deck you cant have non light monsters so most of the monsters 
you are use to are out of the question.but now you have room for all new 
combos that people wouldent even concider you pulling off.
now i cant put evey combo becuse its all how you plan on doing it so 
expariment or even do like what i did hold a fun tournament that each deck 
that enters must have all his monsters the same 
type(light,dark,water,fire,air,earth)or even all cards are 1 per deck is 
also a fun tournament

first we will do the beatdown light nonsack monsters

ok lets see if you think you are gowing to miss your GE.we have the Thunder 
Nyan Nyan 1900/800 "if thare is a non-light monster on your side of the field 
this face-up 
card is immediate destroyed"
this card will be you best 4star beatdon and with a luminous spark on the 
field can we say a 2400/400 4 star only weakness is well you will allways 
havea light monster on the field so you are good on that but be warry of 
extange,to give you a non-light monster or thim new GK-assailants so keep a 
luminous spark on the field at all times in a light beat down deck

moveing on to the 2ed but my fav is the
Hysteric fairy
1800/500
"offer 2 monsters on your side of the field as a  tribute to increase your 
life points by 1000 points. monsters used for a tribute summon or that are 
offered as tributes due to other cards effects are excluded"
it not the fact that its  a beatdown but it is a easy way to get life 
points back as it can be used as a tribute itself but its not that good of 
a effect and if LS field is up hes a 2300/100 4 star nothing to sneez at. i 
dont know why but its a fun card to have and he looks cool

now for some old school beatdown and we all remamber him
Maha Vailo
1550/1400
"in addition to the effects of equip cards, the ATK of this monster is 
increased by 500 points for each card equipped to this monster one thing i must say 
is that i used 3 elfs light when this first came out 
and i followerd all the way to ax's but after colleted power came out i 
went back to elfs light becuse my axs were geting taken so i went back to 
elds light becuse itf it gos to a non light monster it gos back to your 
hand and metalmorph/blast with chain are cool too becuse you cant take thim 
with collected power.im not gowing into evey way this card could be 
used  becuse the math involved is long but i will give one EX maha vailo+luminous 
spark+elfs light=2950/800 not bad for 1 field and 1 
equip thats conciderd weak

and now a up and coming star in at least my deck is the
Asura Priest
1700/1200
"this card cannot be special summoned. this card returns to the owner's 
hand during the end phase of the turn that this card is normal 
summoned,flip summoned or fliped face-up. this card can attack all monsters 
on your opponet's side of the field. you cannot attack your opponent 
directly if you attack any monsters first.
mostof the time i have a LS field down so its a 2200/800
but if you can clear the field of all thim 2200 and under its like haveing 
a mini raigeki and if it dies from a GAF it still hits evey thing else and 
if thay got a big bad 2200+ take the hit if it takes out at lest all but 
that one it will well be worth it(note) fun with FMC equip card

  hear are some others noneffect cards you mite try as fillers and if you 
have the field LS that a 500+ATK(note.yes i did have to use thes at one 
time becuse good light cards were not out at the time)
Neo the magic swordsman      1700/1000
Guardian of the throne room  1650/1000(note.use 7 completed on it  hehe)
Shining abyss                1600/1800
Rogue doll                   1600/1000
Maiden of the moonlight      1500/1300


ok now for the def decks  i sugest not useing luminous spark

first the noneffect DEf monster jest to get thim out theway
spirit of the harp   800/2000
mystical elf         800/2000
shining abyss       1600/1800

ok lets start strong if we need a staller we need
Banisher of the light
100/2000
"as long as this card remains face-up on the field,any card sent to the 
graveyard is removed from play"
this was the card to get imo it works good with so many cards but not 
intill light of intervention that i use it heavy as now it comes in face up 
DEF and the effect combind with any hand destruction card was deadly agenst 
that instant win decks that we shall leave nameless
try useing Jowgen the spiritualist with it

now for a the other nice def card is
The forgiviong maiden
850/2000
"offer this face-up card as a tribute to return 1 of your monsters 
destroyed in battle during this turn to your hand"
now i think its funny to have light of Intervention out and thin i put this 
in face up DEF and what you jest attacked myand killed my hysteric fairy na 
sack her and he comes back. its a def for your creaters

now fow the 1 star wonder
The unhappy maiden

"when this card is sent to the graveyard as a result of battle the battle 
phase for this turn ends immediately"
when this came out my light deck started to shine becuse at that time i i 
had 3 wabokus this card added to my blocking power buy with all the trample 
like creaters i dont know if its still worth it

ok now to a card that has +s and -s
Ceremonial bell

"as long as this card remains face-up on the field,you and your opponent 
must show your respective hands to each other"
now hay ya you get to see thare hand and plan for thare next mov, but thin 
that can too, but in a full light deck it shouldent matter much

now this is for thim gravity bind/MOP decks

first the one that i call banisher of lights drinking buddy Jowgen the spiritualist 
200/1300 "randomly discard 1 card from your hand to the graveyard to destroy all 
special summoned monsters on the field.in addition,as long as this card 
remains face-up on the field.no monsters can be special summoned" now this is a card 
that I use in most decks becuse i dont use special 
summons unless i play Soul of purity and light but i love it when evey card 
the opponent has was SS on to the field and i ply thiss and kill a card in 
the hand nut my fav combo is if you have this out and thin you play last 
turn hehe ha ha no monster on the  other side  o well i win

and a card i rairly see but i use  is
Dreamsprite
300/200
"when attacked by your opponents monster,select another 1 of your monsters 
cards and designate it to attack target,then calculate damage" ok this is what i do is 
have a hight ATA creater in play and use its effect 
to run it into it or a high DEF works too(note>the opponet attacks its 
effect works it dont say if it attacks this card so work with it )

lets see now for some sack monsters

this is by far a monster  you see a lot now but it is deadly in light beatdown 
Airknight Parshath 1900/1400 "when this card attacks with an ATK higher than the 
DEF of your opponenets 
defense position monster,inflict the difference as battle damage to your 
opponent's life points.when this card inflicts battle damage to your 
opponets life points,draw 1 card from your deck"
this card in a beatdown light deck is worth any 1 sack  for it higher than 
the old light one sack Gyakutenno Megami but like most cards like it it 
never has do go into DEF and the exta card draw helps

and now the big one that i pulled from my first new pack of PGD Moisture Creature 
2800/2900 "if you Tribute Summon this monster by offering 3 monsters on the field as 
a tribute,destroy all magic and traps cards on your opponents side of the 
field"
a big upgrade from the wingweaver i use to use
hay it may be 9stars but i only have to sack 2 to get it out but the effect 
i must say that i only used it 3 times so far and its hard to keep 3 
monsters on the field unless you got a good stall on but once its  on the 
field use the dreamsprite to run low ATK monsters into it hay and its DEF 
is vary nice

ok i could do more but let now try to use the singel type rule to come up with some 
odd plays hear are some ideas

  Fusion deck with ST.Joan and Musician king
i knoww but dont you need need marie the fallen one and witch of the black 
forest.naa this mite be hard to find but get some goddess with the third eye Goddes 
of the third eye 1200/1000 "you can substitute this card for any 1 fusion-material 
monster.you cannot 
substitute for any other fusion-material monsters in the current fusion" hay now all 
you need is some lady of faith and the forgiving maiden and you can build a deck 
light deck around this and for some kicks throw in some summoner of illusions and 
Dimensionholes too (evil)

now thare is allways a a deck built around the only ritual light monster Skull guardian 2050/2500 
"this monster can only be ritual summoned with the ritual magic card"novox 
prayer".you mustalso offer monsters whose total level stars equal 7 or more 
as a tribute from the field or hand"
  you lucky that senju of the thousand hands are a light monster it can get that skull 
guardian

and the last deck (i plan on going more into later in a new post) Gradius deck (NOTE 
gradius was a old super nintindo game that this spaceship came from) uses Gradius,
Gradius Option,Cyclon laser,7 compleated and so on
