Subject: Unconventional Exodia Disruption?--Dinesh Martin Recently I had the pleasure of sitting down with one of the best duelists I know, and from that meeting came something extraordinary. I had an exodia deck I was dueling a friend with. The other guy looked into my "BOX" and saw a Yata garasu and the support cards laying around I.e. delinquent duo, drop off etc. He then decided for us to mix THESE cards with the exodia deck :o I must admit we had to take out allot of cards to keep it down to 40. BUt at the end of the day, we left the common dueling ground undefeated. One of the advantages of a deck such as this is that even if your exodia head and fiber jar hit the graveyard by some twist of faith there is still a chance that you can win the duel. I've had to remove the CONFISCATION from the typical hand disruption and just leave one DROP OFF, one delinquent duo and one forceful sentry. Cards such as Torrential tribute, raigeki, darkhole are a MUST. They help to clear the field. Some of the most underestimated cards in an exodia deck and hand disruption are: 1) Last will --This easily allows you to take a witch of the black forest or sangan from your deck and special summon it to the field. Hence using it's effect to take your yata garasu OR fiber jar is unparelled. This is essential if your exodia head hits the graveyard. 2) Ultimate offering--Allows you to build up your defenses even if it using your exodia peices, waiting on the final draw of yata.I have to admit it pains to put a Left Leg into defense mode but again, if your head and jar is gone you have to do anything to win. Alternately--Say you have a Torrential tribute set (from one turn before) you can summon a leg and then activate your OWN trap card, and then use ultimate offering and use yata. :) This type if deck is extremely hard to use and I don't advise it for any newbie to yugioh. In any case stick with a typical Turbo exodia deck. It takes someone of immense skill to use this deck to its full potential. Just for noted mention:cards such as mystic tomato, fiber jar etc are a must in this and any deck that wishes to run exodia effectivley.
