Subject: My thoughts on YGO now - nataku27 It seems that the new set Magician's Force has made ppl very happy now that they can get their hands on new cards like the XYZ pieces and fusions, the Amazoness cards, new magicians(or spellcasters), and of course, the D. Magician Girl. But it seems that with the wording of magic card changed to spell card, everyone thinks that magic jammer, solemn judgment, imperial order, etc. won't work on them. WRONG!!!! If the card is still green, it's still considered a MAGIC CARD. Spell cards are the same as Magic cards. Sure the words are different but Spells and Magics are one and the same. If it still has that japanese symbol on the top right corner, its still a magic card. So don't feel bad if you're an idiot or not. We all make mistakes here and there. The next thing i like to point out is why the heck did UDE named Sapphire Dragon(in japanese) into Luster Dragon. There was a Luster Dragon in the last couple of sets so why. Well sure they did do a bit better by not editting out the Amazoness cards but geez at least check all the cards you guys did before naming them. Since the new secret rare was the cute D. Magician Girl, everyone thinks it was either pointless or great that it was a secret rare. I think it wasnt a bad idea but should of left it the way it was in Japan. But the thing is that this D. Magician Girl is nothing compare to the original one in Japan. Reason why is that the English SR DMG cost at least $20-$30 tops. The Japanese SR DMG was originally a prize to duelists that enter a tournament and won and it cost a butt-spankin $600 or maybe more. I bet you guys want that card right? Well good luck even trying to find one since its out of print and there are very few collectors that have em. The next thought i had that somewhat irritated me was why did UDE edit out the guns of monsters like Barrel Dragon(Revolver Dragon in Japanese), Don Zaloog(think its spelled right), Roulette Barrel(Roulette Bomber in Japanese), and the XYZ Dragon Cannon. Yeah, i know kids are influenced by stuff they like but isn't a bit too much. I actually like the way Revolver Dragon looks since he packs 3 revolvers on his arms and his head. Don Zaloog was changed from having guns to swords. WTH!!!! If you look carefully, he's actually holding the swords like how you hold the guns and he's has prolly 1 or 2 fingers out almost like hes about to shoot. Well enough bout that. Now comes the reason why ppl don't truly kno why YGO is more about strategy then just brute force. Before, YGO came out with weak and not so strong monsters Low or High Level in Japan. Reason why they did is to see how well it would sell and see how ppl play with such a weak beginner deck. Since then they made more stronger monsters when they released new sets like LOB, RB(Revival of Black Demon's Dragon), Phantom God, Metal Raiders and Booster Chronicles. In the US, UDE released LOB and up and not the original Volume Boosters that Japan solded. The reason was that they think IMO, thought that it wouldn't sell and they think that it was more about strong and powerful monsters. But then UD did release some of the cards in McDonalds(me bad if i spelled it wrong) as promos and it ended pretty quickly leaving ppl not gettin that Cosmo Queen. In conclusion, it comes to show that UD and even Konami of America care more about power and money then about startegy.(forgot to put Konami in this too :P) Well either you agree with me or not, these were my thoughts about YGO now so if you like drop a msg in AIM or an email. nataku27 - Mark aznpsyduck69@yahoo.com AIM-aznpsyduck69 Minor note: Forgot to tell the PoJo crew that you guys made a mistake about the Magicial Scientist COTD and some fusions. Some fusions like Dark Balter and Ryu-Senshi, can ONLY be fusion summoned by the fusion materials written on the card so that means that it wouldn't work with any effects that involve special summoning fusions just like the Magical Scientist.
