Subject: Magic Cylinder,is it really outdated?--Dinesh Martin Magic cylinder: is it outdated? I'm not going to bore you with a bunch of fancey english(although i can write it :P ) and waste both our times.Below is a simple summary: Alright first of these are the main competitors and the decks they belong in: Waboku --Mainly exodia decks. In exodia decks how man LP your opponent has really doesn't matter unless you have them against the ropes with a Guardian sphinx. Book of moon--At first glance this card looks pretty worthless doesn't it? BUT, book of moon is extremely powerful>I'll actually be rebuilding me deck within a month to suit this card (maybe even 2!). Think about it: your opponent summons his almighty JINZO! (Which really isn't that mighty) and equips a united we stand and axe of despair to it! Now simply flip your book of moon, kill the axe , united we stand, and then next turn even your Mystic tomato will kill that JinzO! Ring of destruction: This is probably one of the 2 cards I am going to maindeck instead of the Magic cylinder. The ring of destruction is probably one of the BEST cards released. It's main advantage is that it's chainable to M/t removal! Using cards like these are pretty nice to irritate your opponent not to mention deplete their M/t removal! Alright I'm just going to stick in a rant about Airknight parshath I've read numerous articles about how much this card sucks, how it's a waste of a tribute and a summoned skull is better. But come one! What's the most IMPORTANT thing in duel monsters? DRAW POWER.Although an exodia player would more than likly stear clear of this card as it puts them at a "field disadvantage" it's a very nice card to side deck! P.S. I'm not saying that magic cylinder isn't a very powerful card,it's just that you can use that one extra space in your deck for something actually worthwhile! I know it can give you the game if played at the right time, but how often does that happen? Flames? Comments?
