Subject: Barrel Dragon clearification - DoctaJay I am tired of hearing how Barrel Dragon has a 2/3 (two in three, 67%) chance of destroying a monster, this is wrong. Barrel Dragon has a 50% (one in two, ½), of destroying a monster or not destroying a monster, it that still isn’t enough proof I have written something that I hope is. WINNING COMBOS 3Heads 0Tails 2Heads 1Tails LOSING COMBOS 1Heads 2Tails 0Heads 3Tails I have put all the types of throws you can have with Barrel Dragon. You have a 25% (one in four, ¼) chance to throw any one of these combos. I have separated the combos into winning combos (where Barrel Dragon’s effect goes through) and losing combos (where Barrel Dragon’s effect does not go through). Notice there are two winning combos, so you would have a 25% + 25% chance of throwing one, in other words a 50% (one in two, ½), of getting to destroy a monster, not a 67% (one in three, 1/3) chance. Also, you have the same odds of throwing a losing combo. Further proof is that there is the same amount of winning and losing combos, hence you have the same chance (½) of winning of losing. If the card said flip a coin once… you would have the same odds of winning or losing.
