Subject: Tips to Make a Useful Toon World Deck - TheMaverick Toon World....Not much can be said about this card alone. It has no effect, its not Quickplay, its not even a trap. Heck, it even costs you 1000 LifePoints to play. Not much can be said about this card…that is, not much can be said when its alone. The fact is, when this card is combined with other strong magic/traps it too can be rather useful. I understand Toon decks are flawed and hard to use and vulnerable to many different tribulations, but where there’s a will there’s a way. I believe I have successfully built a Toon deck that might be able to stand against the best of you. It requires a lot of patience and endurance, but it can inevitably finish off your opponent in a single turn. The trick is, like an Exodia deck, to be able to; a). Draw as many cards as physically possible. (This is where 3 Graceful Charity and Pot of Greedalong with Painful Choice really helps) b). Defend yourself even better than you normally would in an Exodia deck. Scapegoats, Mirror Force, Magic Cylinder, even three Messenger of Peace is very powerful since you can destroy them during your standby phase and still have your defenses up until you want to attack. c). This one card alone can be the difference between winning and losing. Imperial Order. Never, I mean never, play a Toon monster without this card or maybe a Magic Jammer. Toons, since they need to be on the field before they can attack your opponents LifePoints, are very susceptible to magic that destroy them. In addition; d). Don’t under-estimate the power of the Toon Mermaid. Look at her abilities; the fact that her ATK is 1400 means that Messenger of Peace won’t affect her. She can ATK your opponents LifePoints easily in that manor since she bypasses the opponents cards. The fact that she’s level 4 also means she can be played without a tribute. Multiples of this card can be played in a single turn. e). I know Blue Eyes White Dragon is the strongest Toon in this game, but do not use it. You’ll almost never have 2 monsters to tribute, and even if you do it would be more towards your advantage to just have a Summons Skull and keep another monster to defend yourself. 500 ATK points aren’t too much anymore with such powerful equips available (such as Mage Power, United We Stand, and an old favorite, Axe of Despair). f). Toons have one major advantage; they’re a special summons. Meaning, you can play a card and then tribute it for the Toon. If your good enough you can actually get multiple strong Toons out on the field, have them well defended with Imperial Order and/or Seven Tool of the Bandit, and destroy your opponent in one swift move. Just one final note, Toons should never be used in an actual competition, unless you’re a complete expert in the art of Toons. This is merely a fun, yet powerful deck. Toons are meant to impress your friends of your deck-building abilities. Well, I guess that’s all that can be said about these fun little creatures.
