Subject: A Suggestion on Writing Tips Ok, people. We all like Pojo, we all like Yu-gi-oh, and we all like to write. But I'm seeing the same things over and over again, which is great when they're original tips, but when they're basic techniques it isn't funny anymore. Admittedly, I look forward to the release of new tips, because most of them give me a good laugh or two. If you want to avoid this dubious honor, you should look into these suggestions. 1) First, and I cannot stress this enough, USE A SPELLCHECKER. Even if it's not a good idea, at least you sound like you've got some idea what you're saying. Sometimes it's hardly in English there are so many typos. 2) Secondly, there are basics that everyone knows: please do not reiterate them. Example, Monster reborn works on high sacrifice monsters without needing a sacrifice. Thus, discarding a big monster to the graveyard when you have reborn is a good idea. I don't need to see Magic Jammer + Monster Reborn, AND Graceful Charity + Monster reborn AND Card Destruction + Monster reborn. We get the idea. Nor do I need to know that it is a good idea to tribute an opponent's monster when I have control over it. 3) Read the card of the days, ok? Most of the combos with a card are covered in there, so we don't need to hear them again. An example is Scapegoat. It can be cannon soldiered, United we Standed, and it is weak to Fairy meteor crush. That is not a combo. 4) Any combo that requires your opponent to use or have a certain card is NOT a workable combo. Example, I use Just Deserts when my opponent uses Scapegoat because they count as monsters. This is not a combo. 5) There is no shame in reviewing a cards effect before posting advice on it. I don't know how every card works, and I've gotten things wrong before. But PLEASE ask someone (Like Edo or one of the COTD people) whether the combo would work. Well, that's all for today. Thanks for listening. And I apologize if you took this as a personal insult, as it wasn't meant as one. Flames or compliments can be sent to me Via Pulser_Aynasa@Hotmail.com
