Subject: A detailed tag team rules- darkwonders Tag Team Duel Rules By: Cory Bergmann 1. Each team may start out with a combined total of 12,000 life points, or they may have 8,000 life points each. 2. Team members sit next to each other for the duel. 3. Flip coin. 1 person calls it. 4. If he gets it right he goes first. If he doesn't person who flipped coin will go first. (Coin flipper must be from opposite team.) 5. Turns then alternate. Starting person is player 1, team member is player 2. Person diagonal from player 1 is player 3. Person next to player 3 is player 4. Turns alternate like this. Player 1->Player 3->Player 2->Player 4. 6. When each player is taking their first turn, he may not attack players that haven't had a turn yet. 7. When players are playing with combined life points, they have a combined monster field(five monsters total for both people). Separate if separate life points. 8. Players can have a total of 12 cards combined in their hands. (ex. if player 1 has 8 cards, player 2 can only have 4 cards at the end of his draw phase.) If a team is over the 12 card limit at the end phase they must discard down to twelve. 9. Players may use magic and traps to help their partner. They also may sacrifice their partner's monsters for tributes/effects. (only if field combined) 10. Any cards that have a set limit on how many turns it stays is for each opponent (ex. Player 1 plays SORL. Turn 1-player 3, turn two-player 4, turn three-player 3) 11. Each player has five magic/trap zones for himself. If his magic trap is full, he may use his partner's magic/trap zone for cards if so desired. 12. Any resurrection card that is designated for own graveyard only works for your partner's graveyard as well. 13. Heavy storm and Harpie's feather duster works for both of opponents's field. (raigeki works here too if playing with separate life points) 14. Fusion and ritual requirements can be used from both players' hands. 15. anything that applies to opponent only can be used against them both. (ex. Confiscation. You can see both opponents' hands and discard a card from either of them. NOT BOTH) 16. Team wins when their opponents' life points reach 0, they deck both people, they have all five pieces of exodia in one person's hand, they have final written out on one player's magic/trap zone. For Separate life points only 17. Each player has separate hands 18. Separate monster zones 19. can't use partner's monsters for tribute, or ritual requirements (may still use in fusion) 20. can use monsters to block for partner if he doesn't have any monsters on the field 21. must deplete both opponents' life points to 0 before victory is claimed. Well that's it for now. This should make Tag team duels a lot more easier to play. -Cory(darkwonders in message board If u have any questions or comments you can email me at: game_4evr@hotmail.com _____________________________________________________
