Subject: apology/spoiler by kungfuaxedemon for those of you who read my last rant, im sorry for senselessly bashing all of you, thus breaking the most often-broken rule in their guidelines. But, what's done is done, we can't change the past, etc. I would also like to take a brief look ahead to LON and the 2 upcoming starter decks (Pegasus and Joey). Notable LON cards 1. Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer (these names are all tentative): This monster is 4/1800/700 with an effect that reads "Whenever this card inflicts damage to your opponent's Life Points, you may select up to 2 monsters from his/her Graveyard and remove them from the current duel" This is basically a Gravedigger Ghoul (or the ultimate anti-Exodia card) in monster form. It will be either rare or Super rare (im hoping its rare) and Beatdown players should definitely use it. 2. Gemini Elf: With stats of 4/1900/900, this will be lethal. It will either be made Ultra Rare or Secret Rare (probably hobby box Secret if it is secret). Every Beatdown player will want this (der). 3. Power of Magicians: This is an Equip Card that increases the Equipped monster's ATK by 500 for every M/T on the owner's side of the field (yes, PoM itself is counted). Can you say insane Maha Vailo/Hayabusa/White Magical Hat? This Ultra Rare (or maybe Super Rare) will definitely be made limited. But don't think it's a staple. Equip cards are all too easily countered what with all the MSTs, Dust Tornadoes, Imperial Orders, Magic Jammers, Magic Drains, Heavy Storms, and monster removal running rampant out there, along with the not-often-used Eternal Rest and Reverse Trap. There are just way too many cards that kill Equips. But don't get me wrong, Equips are good in the right deck. 4. Harpy Feather Duster: The Raigeki of M/Ts. I expect it to be Ultra rare or Super Rare and definitely limited. Can you say staple? 5. Imperial Decree: Kinda like Imperial Order, but it negates Flip Effects. This may replace Ceasefire in control decks, but not in burners. Good tech in a beatdown. 6. The Naked King: This name will obviously be edited. It's a continous trap (I think) that negates all Equip cards. Yet another reason why Equips are on the decline. This is also good tech, but not just in beatdown. 7. F.I.N.A.L. and Destiny Board: This is like Exodia but much worse. If you get any of these 6 cards, trade them or sell tham. The Destiny Board itself may be Secret Rare, I'm not really sure. Notable Starter Cards 1. Graceful Charity: Draw 3 cards, yay! On the TV show, players had to discard 2 cards from their hand after adding the 3 new ones. Here's hoping the reality version of GC isn't like that. Expect it to be made limited. 2. Penguin Soldier: Flip Effect mon with same effect as Hane-Hane but you get to bounce 2 mons. I like this card and I'll probably take out a Wall of Illusion for it as soon as i get it. Should you? It's your call. 3. Gryphon's Wing: Another Counter Trap that stops a specific magic card. In this case, it's Harpy Feather Duster. I don't like this card at all. I just thought it was worth an honorable mention. 4. Magic Jammer: This comes in the Pegasus deck. I don't really care, though, because I already have 2 Jammers and 3 is overkill. 5. Magician of Faith: Yes, this incredibly broken card comes in the Joey deck. Once I get it, I'll have 3. 6. Seven Tools of the Bandit: This comes in both new Starters. I personally don't like this card much because it's a bit too stuational, and I now have to contend with newbies who will use it. Grrr... 7. Relinquished: This comes in the Pegasus deck (der) and I doubt I'll use it. Well, that's just great, now we'll have a bunch of cocky newbies running around with Relinquished and Magic Jammer saying they're good and tourneys will be a lot harder to win (as if they weren't already). Okay, so there may be a few good cards that I left out, but oh well. I hope these little spoilers helped some people even though most of you have already seen stuff like this.
