Subject: MagiKazoc's Guide to Game Awareness You have the best deck, and the best skills, and yet you still don't win. There could be many causes for this, but the one I'll be focussing on today is game awareness. I have been playing about every card game that has hit the market, and players' biggest downfall is that they aren't aware of the field (including their hands). Here are my best tips to win with game awareness. 1: Check your deck. You may accidentally leave cards on the table or in opponents' decks. Check all your cards off a list. This is important; I lost one tourney because my Exchange was still in the box, and I needed it to beat Exodia. 2: Be aware! Check what's on the field and in your hand, including Set cards. Check again and again, and try to anticipate opponent's moves so you can spring a trap. Generally, if you can destroy it, do it. 3: Hold cards in your hand. Don't try to swarm your opponent or play out your hand. This is an ameteur mistake. 4: Practice card awareness in mock duels. Let a friend 'stack' their deck, and play against it. Since they have the upper hand, you need to be very aware of what's going on in order to win. Hope this works!
