Subject: Tips for not cheating- IMPORTANT! Im sure Ill get a fair enough ammount of hate mail from newbies for the things Im about to say, but a whole LOT fo you that are posting tips on here that are seriously disobeying the rules, BADLY, so I figure Ill see if I can help and even the playing field by clarifying various rules and rulings on the biggest errors Ive seen. I figured Id share the knowledge I have of the rulings with the people of WWW.POJO.COM. If you must know where I got these rulings: http://www.stormpages.com/edhrzic/Yugiexp.htm GATE GUARDIAN- By far the most wide-mistaken card Ive seen on pojo. People who suggest sending it to your graveyard then using Reborn on it are wrong, period. ANY monster with a special summon requirement must be brought into play via that requirement in order for it to be eligible for Monster Reborn. The current english monsters that have special summon requirements are: -Gate Guard -Larva Moth -Great Moth -Harpy Lady Sisters -Fusion monsters (their requirement is Polymerization, future card like Devil Franken and Illusionary Summoner will skip Poly and thus fusion monster summoned by their effects CANT be Reborned) DREAM CLOWN- When you summon a monster, it CANNOT change its mode on that turn. The assumption is that you put that monster in the mode you wanted it for the duration of that turn. The same thing applies for all Attack-Defense effect monsters. MAN-EATER BUG- When you Set a monster, you CANNOT Flip Summon it on that same turn. This goes for any-face down monster. FACE-DOWN ATTACK MODE- Doesnt exist in the card game, enough said. TRAP HOLE- When you Trap Hole a monster, you Trap Hole it WHEN ITS SUMMONED. You DONT wait for your opponent to declare an attack or use a magic card and THEN Trap Hole. Trap Hole is actiavted via the monsters summon, not by attack or magic. -If you play La Jinn and your opponent asks you if your attacking and THEN Trap holes you, well... theyre wrong and Trap Hole can stay face down where it is. -If your opponent plays his Neo the Magic Swordsman and then waits half a sec and places his book of Secret Arts and THEN you Trap Hole him, youre wrong. -If your opponent plays Lord of D and you wait until they play the Flute afterwards and then you go 'Oh, Trap Hole' guess what... youre wrong. -If they play BOTH the Lord and Flute at the SAME time, well guess what... its THEIR problem, you can Trap Hole just fine and their Flute is NOT used. Why? Because you dont play monsters and magic at the same time... its a multi-step process... you summon the Lord 'naked' and then you can play your magic card. In short, you Trap Hole IMMEDIATELY after the summon or NOT AT ALL. The same thing applies for Horn of Heaven and Solemn Judgment. (yes Judgment and not JudgEment... I know they didnt spell it correctly) Again, I got these at a different Yu-Gi-Oh pages that posts mainly rulings and card lists: http://www.stormpages.com/edhrzic/Yugiexp.htm He didnt make the rulings, neither did I, but I AM RELAYING them because these are offical and in order to play the game CORRECTLY, these are the rulings you should be following and they DO NOT interfere with the rules of the rulebook.
