Subject: dumbest mistakes duelists make- peter When are you huys going to post more tips. I' ve been sitting on my computer waiting for months it seems (on and on for three hours). Anyway, on to the rant. During these dumb three months I was taking a close look at this site, AND I COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW MANY MISTAKES PEOPLE MAKE ON THIS SITE. ( Some of the pojo members themselves made stupid mistakes.) For instance, Relinquished. A couple people seem to believe that if Relinquished absorbs a face down Man-Eater Bug and your opponent flips it face up, it can destroy Relinquished. This is WRONG for two reasons.ONE, When Man eater Bug is flipped it is under your control technically so it would destroy your opponents card. TWO, Relinquished is ritual summon, which IS a Special Summon, which means it isn't affected by Magic, Traps, Or Effect Monsters. Another such example. While reading a torney report, I noticed one persons repor in particular. ( forget who you were, it was somewhere towards the beginning of November) I remember this one particuarlly because this was hte last duel he played in and he lost because of thisAnyway, this person pulled a Blue-eyes out of the Graveyard, then his opponent trap-holed it. Reasons you CAN'T do that. ONE, The Blue Eyes was Special Summoned and I hardly need to repeat that Special summons aren't affected by Magics, Traps, and Effect Monsters. Two, even if your opponent is thick enough not to know that, It specifically says on Trap Hole. If the attack of a card summoned by your opponent EXCLUDING Special Summon, it is destroyed. How stupid can you get. Did I get anything wrong on this. Correct me at Pcarlisi@nycap.rr.com . No hate mail or viruses please.
