Subject: Next Booster and Other Stuff - Mike


Hey everybody! Me again, back to tell you about the next booster! As most 
of you may have read about earlier expansions, the JAPANESE Secret Rare of 
this part was, in fact, the Dark Magician. As we have already seen, two 
Japanese boosters are put together to form one new booster. Well, this 
means that Labyrinth of Nightmare and Struggle of Chaos will go together, 
and as I have heard, they will be out in February. It will most likely be 
under the name of "Curse of Anubis." So, that's a little background 
information for ya.

Now, I will tell you some of my favorite cards from these sets. The best 
card for heavy-hitting Fusion decks that will only expect to see one turn 
is Illusionary Summoner. Unlike Devil Franken, you only need to sacrifice 1 
monster on the field to summon out your big B. Skull Dragon or, when it 
comes out, BEUD. Dealing mega damage with Fusion cards is the point to this 
deck, and Illusionary Summoner will help out a lot.

Another nice card that will come out soon is Ouji Board [D]. This card is a 
Trap card that allows you to search your deck for the Death Messages [E] 
[A] [T] and [H] in that order. The rest of the messages are Magic cards. 
Now, the bad part to this deck is that once one of the cards is sent to the 
Graveyard, the rest of them are as well. Now, with this little effect, you 
may be able to just build a deck around dumping them all into the Graveyard 
and thinning out your deck 5-8 or so cards. Depends on how restricted they 
are. Good card.

Knowing that the Yugi and Pegasus Structure Decks are coming out, I will do 
a little summary on them, starting with Yugi. You guys remember Gaia the 
Fierce Knight, right? Well, there is a Gaia in this that does not require 
tributes IF IT IS THE ONLY CARD IN YOUR HAND which isn't extremely hard. 
Now, Buster Blader, one of the most expensive and rarest cards from PSV, 
becomes available in this deck. It is a definite fact that all hardcore 
Yu-Gi-Oh! fans will have 2-3 of these soon, if the don't already. Another 
extremely rare is Mystical Space Typhoon, which comes x2 in this.

Now, Pegasus' deck comes with a ton of rare and super rare and ultra rare 
cards, including the well known and well-hated Toon monsters. Now, some 
stupid cards (in my opinion) hit the scene here. Take for example Toon 
Gemini Elves. Their effect says that they can attack your opponents LP 
directly if they dont have any Toon monsters on the field. Well, her other 
effect says that when she does damage to your opponents LP, they discard 
one card from their hand. Great effects, but they're kinda contradicting. 
And one more thing; Polymerization and Poly-Cancel (not sure bout english 
name) become available here. For those of you who missed Poly/Pot of 
Greed/Raigeki, etc. here is your chance to get it!
