1)U'd wanna choose a theme for ur dek that u like. I use a Dark dek but u 
may wanna throw in a couple of out of theme cards like for me, I use Gaia 
the Dragon Champion as he is my strongest monster in my whole dek coming 
after Shaow Ghoul.

2)use good magic cards. if u base ur dek around darks, then use the Dark 
Sword, or if it's earth use Invigoration. Also many of the restricted cards 
r good like for me, i use Change of Heart. Uthers r Dark Hole, Raigeki, Pot 
of Greed and such. But every1 knows.

3)Use good ffect monsters. Man-Eater Bug, Hane-Hane, Big Eye, Dark Castle 
(for Zombies), Trap Master/The Reaper r good effects.

4)try to put in Lv. 4 guys with high attack, 1500 or higher. U won't always 
be able to use ur high levels so load up with Bistro Butchers, Dark Elves, 
Jirais, La Jinns, Rainbow Fish, Battle Ox, Neos, Ryu-Kishin powered.

5)Use wurthwile tributes. Curse of Dragon, King of Yamimakai, Flame 
Cerebrus, Pumpking, Summoned Skull r good Lv. 5-6 monsters, not craps like 
Sand Stone, Morinphen, Spike Seadra and such unless u have uther uses for 
them, like for Shadow Ghoul. The Elemental Gods, Barrel Dragon, Blue-Eyes, 
Tri-Horned Dragon, Launcher Spider, Dark Magician, Red Eyes, Garnecia r 
wurthwile Lv. 7-8 monsters, not asslikkers like Gaia (unless ur gonna fuse 
him) or ne 1 lower.

6)use good Fusions/Special Summons. Wen u have Polymerization and have 
multiple fusion monsters, u wunder who to make (u might not actually but who 
cares). Don't make a freak ass bastard like Fusionist. Wurthwile Fusions r 
Black Skull Dragon, Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon, Gaia the Dragon Knight, 
Skull Knight and Labyrinth Tank, not craps like Fusionist, Karbonala 
Warrior, Darkfire Dragon, Charubin the Fire Knight, Flame Ghost, Dragoness 
the Wicked Knight, etc. The Special Summons Larvae Moth, Great Moth, Gate 
Gaurdian, Harpy Lady Sisters r sum of the Special summons. Hrpy Lady Sisters 
r great since they r the easiest to get out and have no statement saying u 
need to offer a monster for 2100 DEF, but u need Harpy Lady with Elegant 
Egotist. Great Moth is an ok guy 2 summon, awfully slow and might not leave 
u enuff time to get him out, but for 2600/2500 stats from a weenie like 
Petit Moth, y not. Now comes Larvae Moth, y in the name of God's Holy Hell 
would u summon this peice of crap instead of Great Moth. Gate Gaurdian is an 
asshole. offer three strong monsters for a peice of crap that can be taken 
out by Shadow Ghoul. Sanga, Suijin and kazejin alone can beat this crap. 
with their effects n all.

Test it out and if my advice dint wurk well then o well, at least i made u
