Subject: Trap Hole tip corrections and clarificatons. MajinUltima



If the ATK of a monster summoned by your opponent (excluding Special Summon) 
is 1000 points or more, the monster is destroyed.

Now what does this mean?

Well, according to the ppl in japan whom are cards and card rulings come 
from, it basically means this:

Trap Hole [j. Pit Trap]
Category: Monster Destruction
Type: Triggered

-Can only be used on a Monster that was Summoned or Flip Summoned.

-CANNOT be used on Monsters that were Special Summoned.

-Must be used just after the Monster was Summoned or Flip Summoned as part 
of the Chain.

-CANNOT be used on face-down Monsters, or Monsters that were Set.

-CANNOT be used on Monsters that are Flipped, rather than Flip Summoned.

-The attack strength of the Monster summon INCLUDES attack strength 
modifications (such as from Field Magic cards)


WELL, what can we interpret from that?

That it is indeed used just after the summon.

That it is part of a chain.

Where some ppl go wrong is what its place is in the chain:

Its place in the chain is just after the SUMMON... not a magic card, not a 
trap card, not an attack, but its place in the chain is after the SUMMON:

Chain Link 1- Monster Summon
Chain Link 2- TRAP HOLE
Chain Link 3- Seven Tools of the Bandit
Chain Link 4- Solemn Judgment
Chain Link 5- Etc.

Each Chain Link targets the PREVIOUS link...  2>1  3>2  5>4  8>7 21>20 
etc...

Chain Link 1- Monster Summon
Chain Link 2- TRAP HOLE (targets Summon)
Chain Link 3- Seven Tools of the Bandit (targets Trap Hole)
Chain Link 4- Solemn Judgment (targets Seven Tools)
Chain Link 5- Etc. (targets Solemn Judgement)

current english card sets... and until someone creates a more comprehensive 
listing of all the expert rulings for the cards we have, then no one I know 
of actually has a place to not follow them.

Now, I expect a swift and relatively immediate apology from anyone who has

had he provided his email address, I wouldve responded there, but since he 
has not, I expect an apology either via my email or on pojo.com.

carpet.  By the way... ppl should have their email on their tip post because

I guess the same ppl that ignore the rules on pojo are the ones that ignore 
the rules of Yu-gi-oh too, and if you are going to post my name, get it 
right M-A-J-I-N-U-L-T-I-M-A.
