Deck Building Guide-Lili

1) First make up a theme for the deck. Like a beatdown deck or a Lord of D. 
deck. That way you wouldn't have a bunch of cards just put together. Have a 
strategy in store.

2) Try and keep the number of cards at around 40.  The higher you get over 
the limit, the longer it will take you to get the ride cards. 

3) Try to have half your deck monsters and the other half magic/trap cards. 
If you have too many of one type, it will be much more difficult to think up 
of strategies and such.

4) Think of these things when building your deck:

a. Card Drawing
b. Monster Removal
c. Monster Recovery
d. Magic/Trap Removal
e. Magic/Trap Recovery
f. Magic/Trap Negation
g. Cards that will help you out on the weaknesses of your deck.

5) Have most of your deck, lv. 4 or lower and some lv. 5 and 6, and 2 or may 
be 3 lv. 7 and 8 monsters. Too many tributes ruins your combos. Do not, I 
repeat, do not have GATE GUARDIAN in your deck. You will have to tribute 9 
monsters. You tribute two for the 3 monsters, 6, then tribute those monsters, 
9. The monsters for Gate Guardian are better alone.

6) Try and have your lv. 4 or less monsters have an attack of more than 1500 
or a defense of around 2000 unless it's got a good effect. 

7) The last final thing to remember about deck building is ALWAYS TEST OUT 
YOUR DECK! Test it out before you enter it in any tournies. Then you can 
revise your deck and improve it. Test it a lot. Find out the weaknesses of 
your deck, get cards to improve it. Take out useless cards. Add new cards. 

NOTE: New expansions will be out. There will be many new deck ideas and such. 
Always check the cards out and beware of the new decks that will be out such 
as Toon Decks and such. Magic Ruler will come out soon. Many cards will 
improve your deck, also, for beatdown decks out there, beware of the Crush 
Card Virus that will come out.
