Subject: Dhuamns Yugioh Top 10 Coolest win Conditions

That's right, I had to make it. It was starting to get to me, not making this. I'm going to look back, and a little forward, to tell you the coolest win condtions this game has seen thus far. I hope you enjoy.

10. Cyber-Stein OTK

This little combo will live forever as long as the game goes, if not on the feild, then in the memories of us players. By simply giving up 5000 LPs, this little deck could bring out a powerful fusion monster to blast you with, ending the game in just one move flat. Every one knows seeing that Cyber Twin/End dragon or the BEUD coming out just spells doom, but still, this little guy is despised for what he does, and yet many of us run him. Still, in his tradtional deck, stein was the one that always was able to make us cry, knowing he was lurking just around the cornor for game. That gets him on the list.

9. F-I-N-A-L (Spirit Message)

These cards allowed you to win the game instantly simply by getting them all on the feild. Sadly, this was always hard to pull off, and Im not sure if any one ever has in a major tourny before, but if you have, my props to you. The Destiny Board was always an unpopular combo, but any effect that makes you win automaticaly is always cool, so this little guy makes the list.

8. Future Fusion Finishers

Whether it be for the infamous Chimeratech or for the newly released (or it shall be soon we think) Five Headed Dragon (Five God Dragon as it was called), this little card gives us some very cool, very fun OTK ablilities. This can easly give us win conditions for cards like Exchange of the Spirit, Chimeratech, and even more, and shall be known as a very powerful card. While it may be new, this card has givin us a lot, and we'll remember it for a long while.

7. Exchange of the Spirit

This card allows us to swap our decks with our graveyard, an our opponent does the same. Well, as long as we have 30 cards in the grave. This became a popular card to try when it came out, pre-banning. It could often get players the win in a game where decking out was so far unheard of. Props to you, Exchange, for all the coolness you created during your short time with us.

6. Magical Sceintist FTK/OTK

This may be the most HATED of all win conditons, but it's still VERY well known. You could easily drop the opponent to zero with this, and they'd never get to draw a card. I won't go into it much, but lets just say it was nasty, and won many poeple games back in the day.

5. Vicotry Dragon 3 game sweep

The Victory Dragon, which should be coming out soon, allows you to autimaticaly win the match (NOT the duel, the WHOLE match. No best 2 out of 3, you win, they go home) when you reduce your opponents life points to zero with him. Or, I think thats him. He was some what poplular, though the most, but still, his power is amazing, and he made one of the coolest win conditons ever known to the YGO community. So, props to him.

4. Burn

It may sound obvious, but burn is a win condition, and a very cool one. You use effects and magic/trap cards to damage the opponent instead of attacks, and use that to win. This is an oldie, thats been around since MRL (now SRL) came out with some of the first burn. Now, its a popular deck type. So, watch out, and try not to get burned.

3. Last Turn

Last Turn is a card I've loved from the very start. Using it in combo with Jowgen was the way people guranteed success, or they'd use it with The Last Warrior from Another Planet, but either way, it ruled. Its one of the few cards with an alternate win condition, and I think we'll remember it for a long time, even after the ban.

2. Yata Lock

How could we not say it? Yata Lock, using Yata to force the opponent to never draw again was one of the most evil moves possible, and could spell doom for any advirsary. I won't go to far into this one either (painful memories ;o) but lets say this one worked very well.

And now, for the winner...

1. EXODIA

Thats right. Since the dawn of YGO, he's been here, winning game after game, the first alternate win condition, Exodia. By drawing all 5 of his peices into hand, you win, right there and then. He's rather famous, and has won tourny after tourny, from the past to the present. Sadly, you don't see him around much any more, but who knows, maybe he'll be back some day. Until then, we must marvel at Exodia, the first true win condtion out side of attacking to really catch our eyes. Truely, he is the greatest, or if not, the most tradtional.

And that does it. Rants, your thoughts, want to tell me you know what I did last summer? Send an e-mail to dhuman571@aol.com

This is Dhuman, aka Ben Jackson (TLN for life!) signing off.
