Subject: Rakkie's Yu-GiOh Top 10 Underused Trap Cards

Alright, I know traps are considered less than Magics, but there are a few that everyone can find useful.

10. Astral Barrier
This card sucks, but only on its own. As a combo card it works well with a ton of other existing cards. Spirit Barrier for a lock, Des Counterblow for a smackdown, Waboku for a save of a flip effect. It's nifty to have if need arises, just think about it some. However, I can see why nobody uses it as it can't do all that much.

9. Good Goblin Housekeeping and/or Jar of Greed
Why are these two together, as they are the same function except different decks. If you run a LV/Harpy/DFK/Swarm deck, there are cards you DON'T want to have in your hand. Which is why Good Goblin Housekeeping can come in handy. Draw a card, send away Horus LV8/Harpy Sisters/Mirage Knight/Troop Dragon/Momonga/Germ/etc. If you drew a card that can't help this duel due to a lack of a combo, send it away. Later on, you get a draw plus 1. Jar of Greed is for the other decks, it's a free draw, as well as a nice bluff card.

8. Horn of Heaven
It is one of the two cards that can kill Jinzo, just feed it a goat/MoF in Atk mode/whatever. Simple and effective.

7. Trap Jammer
A good chunk of Traps do activate in the battle phase, this is a free negation. It lost some use with Mirror Force and Ring getting banned, but it is still worthwhile.

6. Spirit Barrier
For swarm decks, rush decks, and generally nice for when you have monsters in attack mode (or DEF and they have trample). Well, this card protects lifepoints, not too hard to guess.

5. Pikeru's Circle of Enchantment
It's nice to have sidedecked at all times, even if it lost two of the three great threats (Ring and CED). The third being Cylinder, which still sees play.

4. Mirror Wall
This is part of my trio of rentsy Continuous Trap cards. If Mirror Wall cost 1000 less to upkeep, it'd be in every deck ever made. It's a very useful effect, with even better rulings. Now at a cost of 2000 you can keep a Chaos Soldier at 1500 Atk. Meaning almost any monster can kill it, easily. It's not a bad card for single use, and is now worth paying for multiple turn use.

3. Ordeal of the Traveler
Second part of my trio here. Bumping monsters to the hand is fun, the downside is they get to see your hand one card at a time. It also sucks if you have 1 card in hand and they have 3 monsters on the field. However, it isn't a bad card.

2. Fairy Box
Rentsy trio piece three. This one is on the list due to it being a coin flip effect. However, it still leads to 50% chance of painful hurting if you call it right. Watching BEWD die to a face up Atk Magician of Faith never gets old. You can also double up on the traps by having a second Fairy Box or a Spirit Barrier face up too. Which just makes it more painful for them. That and Second Coin Toss.

1. Waboku
Yeah yeah, laugh it up fuzzball. It still is the best and cheapest card for quick defending in the game. Short of pre-negation, MST/Tornado when it sets, and Jinzo, you can always use this card. It has offensive and defensive uses. Very versitile.

I'm R.T., if you really want to email me it's rakath@gmail.com This is just my list to give ideas to those out there. If my list is missing a Trap you think is underused, it might not be as underused as you think.
