Subject: Mark's YU-GI-OH Top 10 Zombie Monsters

Mark's Top Ten Zombie Monsters

10. Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower

I belive that this card is underrated by a lot of people. Although it looks
weak, Atk 400 Def 1500, used in the correct way this card can be more
effective than a Spirit Reaper. When 2/3 of them are face up on the field
neither of them can be attacked and as a bonus when you special summon a
zombie your opponent loses 2 cards off the top of their deck for each Bone
Tower face up. That could mean up to 6 cards lost in one move! WOW

9. Despair From The Dark

What can I say? Great stats, Atk 2800 Def 3000, a common card that is easily
obtained and is very, very effective against cards like Card Destruction,
Delinquent Duo and Gravekeeper's Servant.

8. Vampire Genesis

One of the most strongest zombie monsters about. A great monster for
desposing of your opponent's monsters and has a good way of summoning more
monsters from the graveyard.

7. Ryu Kokki

Although its stats aren't the best, Atk 2400 Def 2000, this monster has
always been my savour when facing a Black Luster Soldier Envoy of The
Beggining. That is why it is here.

6. Fushioh Richie

This card can bring back almost any zombie from the graveyard, which makes
this very useful. Also it has the ability to negate card effects and comes
with one of the coolest pictures in the game. One of the best defense zombie
monsters around. It would be higher up in my list if it wasn't such a pain
in the backside to summon.

5. Dark Dust Spirit

In my opinion this is one of the only decent spirit monsters in the game.
With the ability to blow up almost every monster on the field, it has proven
effective against enemy armies that can't be attacked head one. It's only
down side is that it is returned to my hand at the end of the turn.

4. Spirit Reaper

One of the best defensive monsters in the game. With the ability of
discaring opponent's cards from their hand and not been destroyed as a
result of battle, this monster can be very deadly. It acts as a good barrier
for your LP if you need to defend. It can become even more deadlier when
combined with Nightmare Horse to create Spirit on The Nightmare, with the
ability to attack LP directly.

3. Pyramid Turtle

This is the heart and soul of almost every zombie deck. With the ability to
special summon almost every zombie monster it is extremely useful. What more
do I need to say?

2. Patrician of Darkness

Although this is my all time favorite card I had to place it at number 2. At
first it may not seem that good but I belive it is one of the best monsters.
With the ability to choose the target of your opponent's attacks you can
direct attacks to monsters such as Sangan or Pyramid Turtle to gain their
effect. Also you can use its effect to protect weaker monsters by directing
the attack to monsters such as Blue Eyes or Despair From The Dark. Although
its stats aren't too cracking, its effect is one of the best in the game.

1. Vampire Lord

With only an attack of 2000 and defence of 1500 this isn't the strongest
monster around. However its effect makes it what it is. With the ability of
sending cards directly from your opponents deck to the graveyard it is a
effective way of desposing of enemy trap cards before they can be drawn.
However its second ability is one of the best around. This card is almost
invincible when facing magic and trap cards. When it is destroyed by an
opponent's card effect Vampire Lord will return to your side of the field in
you next turn. Lightning Vortex? Mirror Force? Trap Hole? Night Assailant?
Don't waste them on this dude, he will only return. That is why he is the
number one zombie to use.

I know not all of you will agree and if you don't please contact me st
markyates2000@hotmail.com and tell me why, I may change my mind.

Thanks for reading, Mark Yates
