9. Yata Garasu , Most all handdisruption decks run this card . It has seen more hatred than any other card . But whether you like it or hate it you have to respect the fact that it takes some skill to successfully get a true lock on your opponent.

8. Sinister serpent , This card has over 60 plus combos it can work with and gurantees you have a monster in your hand . It would be number 1 but the fact remains a lot of people still don't use it .

7. Mystical Space Typhoon or as we call it MST , Most every tournament winning deck runs three of these do in part to the chainability to a lot of cards , This card was over looked for quite a while until late last year when people realized they could chain it to Imperial order .

6. Harpies feather duster , This card destroys without repercussions to you like heavy storm does . It has become staple status ever since its release . It has been in the deck of almost every regional champion the U.S has produced .

5. Imperial order , This card has become the number one way to stop magic cards , since it is crucial to play your deck as close to forty as possible and given the fact that there has become increasingly more staples this card has become in most decks the only way to stop magic cards .

4. The Beginning and End envoys Luster and Emperor, These are as close to god cards as will ever be allowed . They are simple to get out and hard to stop . The mind games these cards play on your opponent are unbelievable . They provide a certain confidence boost for any duelist . They see more and more tourney play as more people get their hands on them . Its hard to seperate one from the other both have their good points and people have opinions on both . However most of time if you run one you run the other .

3. Waboku , It chains , it protects , and people now days don't run most traps unless they meet those standards .

2. Dark Magician , Yeah i know what your thinking this guy might not see all that much tourney play but if you have noticed a lot of yugioh cards are based around this guy . I guess it is more of those cards that make him what he is and he wouldn't be on this list without them but take in to account one more factor ,on the cartoon he is the key monster of the main character . One would wonder how the game would of developed without him .

1. Jinzo , And on to the monster who has seen more play than any other monster , this card revolutionized the game . It does what back in the day was considered unholy negating and stopping traps . Today he still is a main player and in a lot of decks he is the biggest beatstick we possess . At one time or another you have probably used him .
