Hey everybody! This is my first time doing one of these so here goes!

Ever since the release of LOD, dragon decks have become a reality. And with 
the release of more sets offering more playable dragons, dragon decks now 
have a chance to get better and better. This is my top ten lists of playable

dragons and dragon magic¡¦s/ traps.


10¡X Lord of D. / The Flute of Summoning Dragons- I know this is the pride 
and joy of all dragon decks out there, but these cards hardly have a chance 
to be played. Probably one out of five duels you will be able to play this 
combo, but that still doesn¡¦t stop your opponent from magic jammering it or

mirror force. All I know is from past experience these cards don¡¦t do as 
much as most people think, I have faster ways to summon my dragons then 
waiting around for both of these cards to be in my hand at the same time.

9¡X Burst Breath- This little trap is fun once you get a chance to use it. 
Manly you have to wait till you want to actually want to destroy your own 
dragon, or your opponent is about to destroy it for you. And considering all

the monsters now a days with low defense, this trap is actually pretty good.

8¡X Spear Dragon- Wow, this little bugger has been make some appearances in 
some beat down decks lately. Not only can he pierce through defense 
monsters, but he goes into defense mode as well. Even if he only lives for 
one turn, he still did some life point damage (hopefully) and you don¡¦t 
loose life points if your opponent brings out a stronger monster (just be 
sure that your opponent doesn¡¦t bring out his spear dragon). I rank him at 
a six because he¡¦s just not as good as he once was. They¡¦re releasing more

and more monsters that have the same effect but don¡¦t switch to defense.

7¡XStamping Destruction- This is a must in dragon decks, I would advise 
running two (but that¡¦s just me). This is my favorite dragon magic because 
it¡¦s so cool. You not only get rid of your opponents magic OR trap, but you

also inflict 500 damage.

6¡X Troop dragon- this guy is has one of the coolest dragon effect I have 
ever played with. It¡¦s easy to find, you can search for it when it gets 
destroyed and not just from battle. It really works well if your opponent 
only has one or two monsters out and you have a level 5 or 6 dragon waiting 
in your hand. And even if you don¡¦t have level 5 or 6 dragons, it¡¦s still 
pretty good; you can use it with stamping destruction or just block three of

your opponent¡¦s monsters attacks. This thing saved my butt so many times, 
but it really sucks when your opponent kills all three of them in one turn.

5¡X Twin-Headed Behemoth- The only reason why I rank this more then the 
troop dragon is the fact that you are guaranteed the one monster you need 
for the tribute, because it comes back at the end phase. And the simple fact

that its level three (so it gets past GB) and has a some what decent attack.

This card really shines when you have it face down along with your face down

troop dragon; you are almost guaranteed to get out your level 7 or 8 
monster. If only they would make this a semi limited instead of a limited.

4¡X Blue-Eyes White Dragon- The strongest dragon without being a fusion and 
must be in every dragon deck. It¡¦s the reason why dragon decks were built.

3¡XKaiser Glider- the best one tribute dragon (beating out luster dragon 
#2). Not only can you defeat monsters that are equal to you, but you also 
get a wall of illusions effect. Didn¡¦t have a chance to totally screw 
someone over with this card yet, mostly they only had a level four on the 
field (but hey at least I stalled them for one turn).

2¡XLuster Dragon- YAY we finally get a level four no effect dragon that 
doesn¡¦t suck! The coolest level four dragon because of the fact that it has

that nice 1900 attack. The only real problem is the fact that it can¡¦t be 
searched for WotBF but hey if you¡¦re running two or three it doesn¡¦t 
really matter.

1¡Xand now the number one dragon is ¡K.Tyrant Dragon. This is one of my 
favorites because it¡¦s so sick! And it can¡¦t be destroyed by annoying 
little traps like trap hole or Sakuretsu armor because it¡¦s a TRYANT! It 
also destroys two monsters on your opponent¡¦s side of the field. I would 
play him over Blue eyes just because little traps can¡¦t harm him. The only 
down side is you can¡¦t just special summon him from the grave yard, you 
must first tribute a dragon first. And he¡¦s only 100 attack from being a 
3000 (but that¡¦s no big deal, he can still kill things).

Please note that the REAL number one most ultimate dragon is the Chaos 
Emperor Dragon but I don¡¦t have him yet and I don¡¦t really know from 
experience how well he plays and how easy it is to get a dark and light into

your grave yard. I know for a fact that you can¡¦t just throw him in a 
regular dragon deck (most of the new dragons are wind types). You would 
almost have to build a deck based around him in order to really bring out 
the best in his abilities.
