10. Avatar of Apothis
This card summons 1 Earth/Reptile with 1600 ATK and 1800 DEF. Ok, so the stats might not be very good for any monster nowadays, but this card can easily set you up for a tribute. One downside to this monster is that it is still a Trap Card as well as a monster, so Mystical Space Typhoon kills this card. It's best use is as tribute bait, can also defend your Life Points in a pinch.

9. Final Attack Orders
This card combos extremely well with cards such as Goblin Attack Force, Spear Dragon, and Giant Orc. Wondering why? It's simple, monsters must always remain in Attack Position, so your Goblin Attacks, changes to Defense, then goes into attack. This also works offensively in another way as well. If your opponent uses many Scapegoats, well, you can guess the result.

8. Raigeki Break
Bet you didn't see this coming did you? This card is basically a Mystical Space Typhoon on steroids. It combines an MST with a Tribute to the Doomed into 1 deadly card. It makes Tribute to the Doomed completely obsolete (unless your up against a Jinzo). Let's see, it destroys Magic and Trap and Monsters. That's all there is to say about this card.

7. Mirror Force
I know I'll probably get a bunch of hate mail for this, but this card receives 7th place on my top 10 list. Negating an attack and destroying all of your opponent's Attack position monsters is nearly game-breaking, this card is not very chainable at all to magic and other trap cards.

6. Judgment of Anubis
A little bit too situational to complete the entire effect, but if you can get it off, your opponent will be cowering in fear. The reason why this card receives a 6 is because it can only negate Magic cards that destroy other Magic and Trap cards, while those cards are common in all playing environments, your chances of your opponent having a monster to destroy become a little bit slimmer because they'll play Magics before monsters.

5. Call of the Haunted
The 2nd revival card receives 5th place on my list. Stay away from putting this card down unless you have a Jinzo or searcher in your Graveyard. If you don't know this combo with Jinzo, then here it is. It's simple if your opponent uses a M/T destruction card on your face-down Call of the Haunted, you chain the M/T destroyer with Call and get out Jinzo. Because of the order in which chains are resolved, Jinzo is reborned, negates Call, and because Call is negated, when it is destroyed, Jinzo is not.

4. Reversed Worlds
For those of you who don't know what this card does, it's simple. If you have 15 or more cards in your Graveyard, then you pay 1000 Life to switch each players decks with their Graveyards. There is a deck archtype known as the Reversed Worlds deck which. through careful card playing, can deck out their opponent in 1 turn, This is done by cards such as Pharoah's Shrine (Temple of the Kings) and Executioner Makyura.

3. Ring of Destruction
Chainability determines a Trap's usefulness, and this ranks extremely high in that sense; the only Trap Card more chainable than this is Waboku and maybe Imperial Order. What makes this card good is that it is Monster Removal in a slightly more advanced form. Both players will lose life equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster.

2. Waboku
In my opinion, this is the most powerful Trap Card. Most players now choose traps based mostly on their Chainability and less on really game-breaking effects. Imagine that you had a Mirror Force instead of this when your opponent activates Harpie's Feather Duster. Bye Bye Mirror Force, but you can chain Waboku and negate all Battle Damage, giving you another turn. I'll probably bet that all the World Championship competitors will all run the Max of 3 in their decks.

1. Imperial Order
Who didn't see this coming? Simple effect for an extremely good card. This makes Magic Jammer almost completely obsolete. While it only negates Continuos and Equip Magic cards as long as this remains active, it immediately negates all other Magic Cards. 700 Life Points is a steal for this effect, and you don't even have to pay it; just destroy it your next turn.
