Evan O's top 5 Yu-Gi-Oh cards no one else seems to use... 5)Waboku With all the talk about how Waboku is an underrated, easily obtainable, versatile trap, I guess it is little surprise that it made the list. But still, I'm surprised that it isn't being played more. After all having Mirror Force down on the field is great until your opponent reborns his Jinzo... 4)United We Stand And then it was said, let there be Equip Magic cards. I suppose it's like a lot of other things I could mention: Something that was heralded as brilliant in its day, yet seems ignored now. One of the most satisfying moments for me in a tournament was when I had Jinzo and 3 monsters of the field, played Change of Heart to take my opponent's only monster, another Jinzo, played United We Stand, and socked my Opponent for over 10,000 Lp damage! 3)Barrel Behind The Door I used to remember back in the day how I always got really mad at my friends for using the ol' Ring and Barrel combo on me. Since I operate on a *limited* budget, it was some time before I got these cards for myself. Of course, by that time people had stopped playing Barrel, so I looked like a fool for using it. But I still do, mainly because the potential for all that Lp damage at once is worth the slot in my deck. 2)Skilled Dark Magician Oh, wowee, you get a basically unplayable effect that allows you to summon a basically unplayable monster, what fun! I typically look past these comments that are directed to one of my all time favorite cards, the Skilled Dark Magician. Ignore the effect, what you're getting is a 1900 beatstick with synergy to Dark/Spellcaster decks. Most of the Tournament players I know don't play this card because it's Unsearchable. However, I consider that a small price to pay for the fact that I'm not using the same old Archfiend Soldier, Gemini Elf, etc that every other Beatdown Deck runs. I believe that half the fun of this game is doing something differernt. 1)Creature Swap Once Again, a card that was once all over the place, yet today has left for parts unknown. Creature Swap is great, in my opinion, because It's Permanent. Besides, using it to take a Jinzo, then attacking the Magician of Faith (or someting similar) you left in attack mode is extremely enjoyable! I use the Name J.J. FeKl. As you can surmise, most of my card choices stem from the fact that I don't have the money to get the latest and greatest cards whenever a new set is released. I dislike those with killer decks that they got because their parents bought all of their cards. I also dislike the terms "duelist" and "duel" Thank You.
