Subject: Rand of the Aiel's Yu-Gi-Oh Top 10 List- Top 10 Non-Beatdown Cards
Hey, Rand here, some who know me, know I dont really like beatdown, and since my store seems only to play beatdown, I usually woop!
 
 
10-Dream Clown/Swarm of Scarabs- The Scarabs, I dont consider beatdown, cause they do not activate if attacked in Face-Down Defense mode, there for, you have to protect them via Messenger of Peace, Gravity Bind...So whats better than a continous man-eater bug, i mean come on, really!
 
9-Ceasefire-This card is underrated, in the current Yu-Gi-Oh enviroment, almost everything is an effect card, so, screw up your opponents flip effects, and deal 500x every monster with an effect on the field!
 
8-Marie the Fallen One- You have to admit, there are TONS of cards that make you discard right now, so, why not get somethin out of it? This works wonders with Fire Princess too.
 
7-Prohibit- Trouble with bane with burn decks and the such is Jinzo and M/T removal, so? why not just prevent it before it happens, even in a beatdown, 3 of these should be in the side deck, once you know your opponents theme? you can screw them up bad...
 
6-Cannon Soldier-Combo them with token producers, like Cobra Jar, or Scapegoat, and you have major damage, also, you can put cards like Gilasaurus and Shallow grave in the deck to get more out, to do more damage, plus give your opponent a monster, which wont be able to hurt you much cause of GB and MoP, then use just desserts!
 
5-Direct Damage Attackers-Those such as Jinzo #7 and the great new card, Mucus Yolk, are great in Gravity Bind decks, also team them up with Robbin' Goblin, you have a mean hand control deck!
 
4-Des Lacooda-Also not beatdown cause it doesnt activate when attacked, so, protect it with GB and MoP, you have major draw power and hand advantage!
 
3-Gravity Bind, Messenger of Peace-The main defenders in all non-beatdown decks, gotta love them, they totally Piss Off your opponent by not lettin him attack with Bazoo, Kycoo, and the such!
 
2-Fire Princess-This card was game breaking, although making a fast deck with it can be hard, it can be done.
 
1-Dark Room of Nightmares-Its a Direct Damage amplifyer, this got demoted to 300 from 500 from the japanese version, but, when ever you deal damage that isnt battle damage, they take an additional 300 damage, so, thats 800 each time w/ fire princess, and cannon soldier, which you would only have to deal damage 10 times to win! cause 800x10=8000!!!! and this card stacks!
