Subject: Oscean's Yu-Gi-Oh Top 10 List- Top Ten Opponents Monster Card Zone Clearing Cards Top Ten Opponent’s Monster Card Zone Clearing Cards This is my first list so please bear with me. The objective of yu-gi-oh the card game is to reduce your opponent life points to zero. There are three ways; indirect assault (catapult turtle, cannon soldier), battle damage, and direct damage. In order to do some direct damage, a duelist must clear his opponent’s side of the field of any monster cards. This list is all about the cards which have that effect. 10. Barrel Dragon- the effect is based on luck but the chance it pretty high to ignore this card. 9. Nobleman of Crossout- destroys one facedown monster card. There is no draw back if you don’t have the flip effect cards below. 8. Hane-Hane- quite obsolete but can still help. Returns one monster to owner’s hand and better than wall of illusion because its flip effect and allows the player to select one monster to be returned to hand if there are more than one monster. (E.g. if there is a Jinzo and Habayusa Knight in your opponent’s side of the field and Habayusa Knight attacks this card you can return Jinzo to his hand. If Habayusa attacks again, your traps are now able to counter it.) 7. Penguin soldier-same as above but more monsters and can be a part of a lot of combos. 6. Fissure- destroys one face-up monster card. If at first you failed to trap hole the monster, use this card. It is quite weak against monsters which negate magic cards that specify the monster (fiends). There are still combos that allow you to fully exploit this card’s potential. 5. Man-Eater Bug- destroys one monster on the field. There is nothing else to say. 4. Snatch Steal- its only good for face-up monsters and has a negative effect. However, the power of this card undermines its drawbacks. You can just see by its restriction to one per deck. 3. Change of Heart- can take control of any monster on the field face-up or face down. Although the effect is only good for one turn, it can change the entire game. 2.Dark Hole- Ultimate destruction but it includes your monster if you have any on the field. Pretty much a reset button 1.Raigeki- Ultimate offensive destruction. No setbacks just plain monster demolition. This is based on my knowledge of the cards that I’m aware of. I haven’t fully read the spoilers for the last two booster series (PGD and LOD) so cards that are listed here are from the first five boosters and the four starter decks. This is just my opinion. If you have any suggestion, questions, violent reactions etc. just e-mail me. Oscean oscean_tortona@yahoo.com __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
