Subject: DrBubbles Top 10 Level 7+ Monsters This is going to be quite a bit harder than my other lists since these cards are so much harder to compare, with some being Rituals, Fusions or other Special Summons. First, the honorable mention (#15 to #11). #15- Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi. This card has one of the best effects in the game. Being a two-tribute Spirit is what drags it back down to Earth, though. This card should never be used without Spirit Energy Settlement Machine- This card is probably the reason they made it in the first place. #14- Buster Blader. This card comboed with DNA Surgery will give you one of the highest ATK scores that you will ever see without power-ups. The problem is that this card's effect does nothing other than boost its own attack and is of littte value without DNA Surgery ( unless you are against a Dragon deck). #13- Black Skull Dragon. "3200 Atk is tied for the third best in the game, so why don't more people use it" is what I here a lot about this card. They have a point, too. But try thinking of it like this: you need specific cards to give your Summoned Skull a 700/1300 boost. When you look at it that way, it doesn't look so good. #12- Sanga of the Thunder. This is one of those cards that, if nothing else, will lure out a monster removal card from your opponent pretty quick. If for one reason or another your opponent is going to have to try to destroy it by attacking, then they are probably fighting a battle they can't win. #11- Lava Golem. Like all new Secret Rares, this card is getting too much attention. This is best used in a Gravity Bind deck with Mask of the Accursed so it will be absolutely no use to your opponent and hurt them really bad really quickly. And now, the DrBubbles Top Ten. #10- Barrel Dragon. Generally, people want at least 2500 Atk from a monster of this level and a good effect. This guy squeks by in both categories. If your using him, base your deck around him to get the best possible use out of him. Obviosly, he is at his best when you use Second Coin Toss to increase his odds. #9- Valkyrion the Magna Warrior. A newer version of Gate Guardian who is better in almost every category. Needs his own deck to reach his full potential, but worth a try if you can get three copies of him and all three Magnet Warriors, who have have-decent stats themselves. #8- The Last Warrior From Another Planet (TLWFAP). This card, along with Light of Intervention, creates a nasty lock for your opponent to try to escape. His stats leave a little something to be desired, but the fact that has Fusion Material isn't all bad makes him a little more useable. If nothing else, he is tied for number #1 for most words in his name with Giant Turtle who Feeds on Flames. #7- Moisture Creature. This guy has stats that don't leave much to be desired and a crippling effect. This guy is on here assuming that you can tribute two monsters and just not get the effect. If anyone knows, feelfree to e-mail me about it. For those of you who don't know what the card does, it has a Harpie's Feather Duster effect if you tribute 3 monsters. This card holds the destintion of being the least rare card on the list. #6- Suijin. With the release of A Legendary Ocean, this guy got a lot more useable. 25/24 Level 7 with a great effect is good, but 27/26 Level 6 is unequaled, even without an effect. Remember, the fact that this card and Sanga are on here does not mean that Gate Guardian is useable. #5- The Masked Beast. This card can be great, but only in a deck completely devoted to Ritual monsters. Also he nor his Ritual Magic should ever be used as single copies. The fact that you can tribute one from your hand to pay for another one is the easiest way to cover the tribute requirements.Just for the record, 32/18 tied with Black Skull Dragon for third best in the game. #4- Fushioh Richie. With the release of this card, comes the debut of the tournament-worthy Zombie deck. The only problem with this card is the cost to summon this card allows your opponent to see it coming. Since Zombie decks seemto rely on graveyard control, this guy is a welcome addition. #3- Mystical Knight of Jackal. This is the only card on the list that is compatible WOTBF, so already it has something going for it. It gives your opponent the chioce of taking heavy LP damage, or redrawing the same card. The latter will only work until you get another monster out, so really they have no option whatsoever. I've been told that the effect even covers Scapegoat tokens. Anyone who can give me a definite answer, e-mail me with your answer and your source. #2- Tyrant Dragon. 2900 Atk is second only to BEWD and BETD, and with the two attack effect, this card is a force to be reckoned with. The "downside" effect is actually a plus in Dragon decks, since he cannot be reborned by your opponent (gemerally). This is the card that officially put Blue-Eyes White Dragon out to pasture. #1- Dark Necrofear. With the release of LOD, Fiend decks keep getting stronger, so Necrofear keeps getting better. Ironically, he has the lowest Atk on the Top 10, yet is placed #1. A 22/28 without requiring a tribute is hard to come by, and the free Snatch Steal effect is always good, too. Like just about every card on this list, this card doesn't work in most decks (but don't hold that against it). So that concludes my list.
