iTsHiMaGaiN’s Top Ten PGH Cards Just to clarify from one of my last top tens. The official rules page does not say that the life gain is separate, but if you go to Edo’s Yu-Gi-Oh page where he goes into future rulings on some of the cards it says the life gain is separate. 10) Guardian Sphinx. This card has a great effect that is reusable. The only problem is this card gets countered a little easier than most monsters. (At my last tournament I went to I NoC-ed this card 3 times.) Doesn’t mean this card shouldn’t be played though. I just wonder if they are going to restrict this card at first since Japan took it off there restrictions list not that long ago. 9) Reckless Greed. In the game of Yu-Gi-Oh, drawing is the key to winning. This card gives you the cards now. Actually unless you use 2 of them at the same time you don’t really get a card advantage in the long run. But if you didn’t know, skipping Draw Phases don’t stack up so if you use 2 of them at the same time you only skip 2 Draw Phases, making this card sort of like a second Pot of Greed. Look for this to be restricted to 2 per deck. 8) Dice Jar. This card is more of a chance card, but if combo-ed with Barrel behind the door this card can do major damage. Just think if you roll the higher number they take life point damage and if they by some chance roll the higher number they take the damage anyways. 7) Barrel Behind the Door. This card is a very good card. Redirect their Magic Cylinder, redirect their Ring of Destruction, redirect your own Ring of Destruction, if you face a burner redirect that Ceasefire, or that 3200 shot of Dark Snake Syndrome, I don’t think this would work too good with Fire Princess though, because you only lose life points when the person gains life points so it would go in 500 LP increments so you would only do 500 LP damage instead of a huge sum. I’m not sure about this though. 6) Rope of Life. The rating of this card all depends on the ruling. If you can use this card without having any cards in your hand this card would be great. This card is able to reborn Jinzo and when it reborns a monster it gets an 800 attack increase which isn’t bad. This card would still be good if you have to get rid of just 1 card from your hand anyways. Now 2 cards in your hand is pushing it, and having to get rid of three cards in your hand is almost never going to be good unless your going to kill your opponent with that attack. It all depends on how many cards you have in your hand, When using this card it’s better when most of your cards are on the field. 5) Nightmare Wheel. Now some people will say that this card is no good They would say that it is pretty much just a Spellbinding Circle which it really is. But what some people didn’t notice before was their downfall. Mask of Dispel and Mask of the Accursed were Super Rares for a reason. When they first came out I used them and did really good. Just put 1 on a Equipment magic card or a mosnter and they would slowly drain your opponents life points. And with Nightmare Wheel it isn’t much different. It will slowly drain there life points while they can’t attack, and I’m not sure if they can change their position. And I’ve heard a lot of people say that there are only 1 or 2 tribute monsters worth playing, so the idea of just tributing the monster to get rid of the card isn’t going to work that easy when most people now a days only play Jinzo when it comes to tribute monsters. 4) Ring of Destruction. This card at number 4. You might think I’m crazy, and probably I am but that’s ok. This card is great don’t get me wrong, a monster removal with direct LP damage is great, but this card only has so many uses. First off you can’t chain it before the summoning of Jinzo which mean if you see that Jinzo is coming out this card is a waste of a m/t zone. Don’t get me confused though I do know that that’s what happens with all traps. And second when you don’t have any LPs left this card isn’t going to help you at all. This card still is better than Magic Cylinder though. Expect to be restricted to 1. 3) Non Aggression Area. For you people who don’t know what this card is it’s a normal trap that is a common. It states “This card can only be activated during your Stand-By Phase. Discard 1 card from your hand. During your opponent’s next turn they cannot set, summon, or special summon any monster.” This card is great. What happens when you opponent has no monsters on the field? They can’t block an attack very easily. All you need to do is summon a Jinzo or use a HFD or Heavy Storm and you could very well have a quick kill. And only at the cost of 1 card from your hand this card could actually be a good thing to discard. You could discard a monster and reborn it to help you with your win. This card is probably one of the top 5 cards in the set effect wise but I’m a little bias to a few cards. 2) Spirit Reaper. This card is a savior. A limitless wall. And when it hits life points they lose a card from there hand. When it is affected by targeting effects it is destroyed which is a downside, but look on the bright side it can’t be Snatch Stolen or Change of Hearted. This is probably one of my top 10 favor cards in the game. 1) Don Zaloog. I’m sick of people saying this card was overrated and it isn’t that good of a card. This card is amazing. Everyone that I’ve beaten with this card want to rip the *Swear word here/ this sort of sucks that you can’t swear* thing to pieces. This card has the hand disruption factor and a little bit of Deck Depletion factor which you won’t use that often. When I got my Robbin’ Goblins out I don’t need the first effect so I use the second effect and usually get rid of Raigeki and Mirror Force and all those cards that could stop me. You just need to know how to use the card instead of hating it. Sure this card is a little bit overrated, but don’t say it sucks when this thing will end up beating your *Swear word again* a few times. Remember these are only opinions. Most of you will think different about what I have said, and if you take it the wrong way then fine. iTsHiMaGaiN_1@hotmail.com
