YU-GI-OH! Top ten underrated cards in the game, by cardthrowingfiend

10.  Giant Trunade- This card has major potential. Let’s say you had a Mirror force down, but you didn’t want to waste it. That’s where a Giant Trunade comes in. In my opinion, it’s a recycling version of heavy storm.

9.  Last Will. When most people see me play this they start cracking up. They say, “OH man, you must be pretty bad if you have that useless HUNK-OF –JUNK in your deck!”

This card has so many combos though that it isn’t even funny.  Combine this with cannon soldier and messenger of peace; it just kills your opponent.

8. Princess of Tsurgi. This card rocks. If you’re facing an Exodia deck, they always have at least three magic/traps down. That’s 1500 direct damage.

7. Tremendous fire. A couple tournaments ago, when I was dueling someone I used Tremendous fire. His reaction was, “OH, a burner, this should be easy.” I beat him down with Tremendous fires and I kept on getting them back with MoF. That is a good way to really annoy your opponents.

6. Ookazi. Same as above, except substitute Tremendous Fire for Ookazi.

5. Card Destruction. This card should see play more often. It’s a perfect anti Exodia card. Combined with Giant Trunade this card can spell NO CARDS LEFT TO DRAW for your opponents.

4. Wobaku. This card has saved my butt so many times. I am almost the only one who plays these at my local tourney. Just cause it doesn’t kill all your opponents monsters in attack mode doesn’t mean it stinks. If your opponent just lost 4000 LP to attack you with their Jarai Gumo just Wobaku it and watch your opponent go crazy and laugh =D

3. Malovent Nuzzler. Ok, you can probably tell that I play a burner/MoP if you’ve read this far. Malovent Nuzzler is perfect for Jinzo#7’s. That’s 1200 direct damage per turn! Most people say equips are no good, but here is an exception to that statement.

2. Jinzo #7. If this monster is out when there is a Messenger of Peace on the field, this card just dominates. Equip it with three Malovent Nuzzlers and you got yourself a 2600 direct damage dealer. Most people’s reaction when I play this is, “Why in the world do you have such a weak card in your deck?” Then they see me lay down a MoP and their jaw drops.

  1. Just Desserts. Most people think that 500 damage per monster on their side of the field isn’t much, but this is usually my finishing card. I love it when your opponent has like 500 LP left and they are starting to make a comeback. I draw a Just Desserts and put it down. They draw and bring out a monster, I immediately activate Just Desserts and that is game, set, and match.

Wow, that was a long one. Got praise mail, hate mail, or just wanna chat about Yu-Gi-Oh
