Ring of the Unliving

4 cost Item, Ring (2)

Your hero can't be destroyed.

While your hero has fatal damage on it, when it's dealt damage, destroy that many of your equipment and/or resources.

Wowzers (and I quote)... this is way cool if you can play the equipment/resources to keep up with it.  Later in the game, this Ring can keep you alive for the one or two turns that you might need to win the game.  You just better hope that no one destroys the ring for you.  On any character that can heal itself (Pally, shammy, Drood), this can keep you going for a LONG LONG time.

Sealed: 2/5  Hard enough to keep stuff alive in Sealed without having to sacrifice it all off yourself.

Constructed: 4/5  In the right deck, this card can be all that it takes to end the game for your opponent.

Casual: 5/5  Definitely fun to watch your opponents go "Oh, crap!" when you play Ring of the Unliving.  Oh, and the power is pretty fun too.  :)

Raid: 1/5  Uh... no  Its too easy to take fatal damage in a raid, so you are going to be sacrificing ALOT.  Dont' bother playing it here.

Ring of the Unliving

It’s one of the cards that don’t win you the game, but can help you last a little longer. And those turns may be sufficient to win! For example, you can heal yourself or deal enough damage to destroy your opponent’s hero… In the late game one or two turns can be decisive! By the time you’ll need the ring, you’ll already have a hefty number of resources and maybe several pieces of equipment. So why losing the game when you can fight for your life one or two turns more? The bad thing about this ring: if your opponent destroys it when you have a fatal damage on your hero, you lose the game.

Sealed: 2/5 In sealed, which is a slow format, if your hero is close to death, your top card of the deck isn’t going to save him. And you probably wouldn’t have many equipment cards in your deck.

Constructed: 4/5 In constructed you have more chances if not to build a deck around this card, then just to find a good way to prolong your hero’s life and maybe deliver the final blow to your opponent who may be thinking that the victory is in his hands.

Casual: 3/5 Well, this card is no fun, but it can be helpful.

Raid: 4/5 Big things may happen in raids when of the players is given a small chance to live. The others may throw all of their forces to heal him very fast and help him to evade the death.
