Red Comet Brother Rhone

This card has a great effect but man it's not going to last long. Mages/Priests will rip him in half with effect damage.

Still a really good early game protector one more health would've been nice though.

Brother Rhone (Alliance)

Ally- Dwarf Paladin

2 Cost, 0 ATK (Melee), 1 Health

Protector, Prevent all combat damage that would be dealt to Brother Rhone by attacking allies.

Well... Brother Rhone threw me off the first time I read him I missed the 'attacking' part of 'attacking allies'. We'll start with the basics. 2 cost for a 0/1 protector is a horrible deal. Does his ability make up for it? I'm going to go with a resounding YES. While he is SUPER easy to kill with an ability card or a characters power, he is completly unkillable by attacking allies, making him about the best wall you can get. With this guy out, your opponant has to either a) always have one of his characters blocked, or b) waste an ability that could normally be spent better elsewhere.

Brother Rhone can either be a great protector, or an amazingly effective bullseye. Remember, if your opponant zaps Rhone, thats one less spell to be used against YOU or your better allies.

Sealed: 4/5 In sealed, stopping Allies can save the game for you. This guy can do it well.

Constructed: 3/5 Here, there are better Allies at 2 cost, but if you can up his health with, say, Power Word: Fortitude, he becomes a wall AND something the enemy won't want to targt.

Casual: 4/5 Here, he's fun and annoying. I like him.

Raid (Onyxia): 2/5 Sure he can stop a whelp, but if Ony flat out attacks him, or uses one of her crazy abilites, Rhone will be toast. Score yourself a better turn 2 Protector here.

ho hum...really not a very good ally, while it can protect and won't die if it gets hit by
another ally, it really doesn't take much to kill this guy and for his cost you can really find
much better card.
