Shawn of the Dead

I love the humour in this game. And often the funny cards are really good too. As is the case, in my opinion, with Shawn here. If he can reborn anything with Ferocity (Leeroy or Fury anyone?) it just seems broken. Taken, he has to live until he attacks (3 health is a little fragile) and to do this you probably have to have some sort of control over the game, but a Guardian Steppestrider prior to Shawn seems pretty good. His 5 attack even gives him merit against ye olde solo decks. Definitely worthy of his rare status.

Constructed 3.5/5

Sealed 4/5

Casual 4.5/5

Raid 1/5

Health: 3

When Shawn of the Dead attacks, you may put an ally card from target opponent's graveyard into play under your control.

Welcome everybody to FOO(Fires of Outland) week, and to start of with a card that most likely only will see play in Casual decks.

Shawn has a very nice effect, the only problem is, that he has to attack for it to go off, and your opponent most likely will not allow it, by frost nova or wing clipping it.

In casual however, it could work very well.

Red Comet Shawn of the Dead

Heh. Love that name. The ability isn't to shabby either.

As I see it bringing back opponents allies under your control is never a bad thing.

He fits nicely into quite a few themes for example Aggro decks will find Shawn to be vital in most games when trying to get field advantage.

Can't wait for this set btw.

Sealed: 3/5

Constructed 4/5:

Shawn of the Dead (Horde)

Ally- Undead Warrior

When Shawn of the Dead attacks, you may put an ally card from target opponants graveyard into play under your control.

Shawn of the Dead... if there is no lawsuit over this card, I will be amazed.  Oh, and if ya havn't seen it, find the movie... its worth a rent for any zombie fan.  :D

OK, so Shawn here pretty much rocks.  his ATK is pretty solid for 5 cost, although his health is a little low, but his ability makes up for it pretty well.  When he ATTACKS (not when he does damage, nothin' fancy), you get an ally from an opponants graveyard.  This is pretty cool.  On the whole, I like him.

Sealed: 4/5  Decent beat stick, cool ability.

Constructed: 4/5  I can see decks built around this guy.

Casual: 5/5  This guy has some SERIOUSE fun potential.

Raid: 1/5  Not particularly amazing, as Whelps don't end up in a graveyard, and I'm pretty sure MC allies don't stay there long.
