Melgwy Pingzot

Very dangerous if protected. He will take one fifth-sixth of your hero’s health or an ally per turn once he goes active, pretty much. Protected by Sarmoth, Parvink and Freya this guy is crazy.

He has a solid 1/3 for the low cost of 2, which is 1 short of the best total for a 2-drop. And with 3 health he’ll be able to withstand low-damage abilites (aka Arcane Shot) and attacks from 1-drops (and kill them!).

Not exactly splashable, but in a deck that can keep him alive he is deadly.

Constructed 4.5/5
Casual 4/5
Sealed 3.5/5

Today's Card of the Day is Melgwy Pingzot. Whew, that was rough to type.
Melgwy Pingzot
2 Cost
1 Attack
3 Health
Ability: Pay 5 -> Melgwy Pingzot deals 5 Fire damage to target Hero or Ally.
This guy is interesting, to say the least. I like him and I don't, all at the same time. For his stats, he's ok for taking one or two hits if you have to drop him early...however, he probably shouldn't be dropped on the two unless you have absolutely no choice.
Melgwy Pingzot's ability is awesome for late game, preferably on or after the seven drop. Popular Protectors such as Kulan Earthguard and Ophelia Barrows get completly melted by this fiery little gnome on and after the seven. He'll probably only get to do it once or twice, since he'll live through some damaging abilities, but if you're smart with him, once or twice should be all you need. Experiment with this guy, the worst thing he'll do is take an eyebrow or two.
Sealed: 3/5 Decent ability for the lategame that hits relatively hard and can hit their one essential card.
Constructed: 3/5 There's more answers for him here, but he's still good for taking out that one pesky ally.
Casual: 4/5 Have fun with this card, I would. Makes for some truly interesting gameplays.
Raid: 4/5 Since Onyxia wipes allies out anyways, at least he'll get 5 damage on her with little to no drawback

2/22- Melgwy Pingzot

He's a nice card. He might be able to survive a turn, and if he does, he's worth the investment. Warlock: PLAY HIM! Sarmoth and Parvink will keep this guy alive for a few turns(with the exception of shadowbolt or fireball) and then he can really turn up the heat.

Limited- 3.5/5
Constructed- 4/5
Casual- 3/5
Raid- 3.5/5- If he lives, he's excellent
