Hello Everyone to this weeks card review, and we start with one of the new Hero’s that has been released from the Dark Portal.

Well I just would like to say just one thing about this guy, and that is WOW ( and no, I don’t mean World of Warcraft).

Hunters have great support from the last set with cards like Fury and Aimed Shot. Add the nice allies and protectors there are, I can see a few decks with Azarak emerging.

Sealed: 4/5
Constructed: 5/5
Casual: 4/5

See you on the Battlefield

x, Flip Azark Wolfsblood -> Target hero or ally has -X ATK while in combat with Azark this turn.

Welcome to Everybody loves orcs week! Today we are looking at the new Horde hunter hero, Azarak Wolfsblood! Being an orc is a huge plus for this hunter because it gives him access to cards such as Warmaster Hork, and Hidden Enemies. His flip ability, however, is not so great. In effect, it blocks the attack of one ally, but doesn't remove it. His talent spec gets him access to Lightning Reflexes, which is sub-par, but being a 1-drop makes it slightly playable, though there are several better options (Bloodclaw, Voss, etc...). Though several new abilities have been release that support hunters (such as the traps), I'd have to say any of the other hunters would be a better choice.

Sealed: 1/5 (You have your choice of any hunter. Choose sen'zir if you want horde.)

Constructed: 2.5/5 (Hidden enemies is a nice quest because it gives any orc in his deck ferocity, and warmaster hork is pretty nice, but both cards seem to be a little slow for a hunter rush build, and horrible for a solo hunter build.)

Casual: 2.5/5 (Too many better options).

Raid: 1/5 (He's either gonna block a whelp, or exhaust a lot of resources to prevent 1 attack from Onyxia. Either way, not useful at all.)

Lazy Peon: 1/5 (Better hunter heroes available.)
Red Comet Azarak Wolfsblood

Well it's Orc week and today's Orc is a hero from the new Dark Portal expansion.

Azarak has a lot going for him I'm partial to heroes that can do well in Onyxia and he fits the bill nicely.

His effect is something you have to put some thought into before using but man it's killer if done right.

Azarak's professions are also pretty decent. They don't matter right now but in upcoming sets I imagine a mining/engineer will be a popular hero choice especially if he's a hunter.

It's hard to use him effectively in sealed.

Constructed: 4/5

Hunter Rush can make use of him but he's better as a counter to it.

Casual: 4/5

Pay 3 and make the boss lose it's built in attack while you swing for 8 or so ? Good Deal
