World of Warcraft Miniatures Game

Battlegrounds!

Weekly Events feature Set 2 Preview Figure

(January 13, 2009) – The New Year comes in swinging, with Upper Deck’s World of Warcraft Miniatures Game Battlegrounds! Starting this month, hobby stores nationwide will begin hosting World of Warcraft Miniatures Game tournaments, as part of the Battlegrounds Organized Play program, complete with weekly prizes! 

The new World of Warcraft Miniatures Game launched to great acclaim in October, 2008.  And now that players have had time to build their legions, let the battles begin!  In addition to honing their Minis skills, players will also complete for great new prizes.  January’s Battlegrounds events will feature a World of Warcraft Miniatures Game Set 2 preview figure, Daxin Firesworn! As if a preview figure wasn’t enough, the Battlegrounds events will feature other great prizes, such as foil versions of the Action Bar cards, “Fog of War” and “Curse of Agony.” Check out WoWMinis.com for a sneak peak at the Spoils of War preview figure! 

World of Warcraft Miniatures Game Battlegrounds are regular events hosted at your local hobby store. These events are a great opportunity to try out your Minis team against other players, while also meeting players from your local area.  Each month, new Battlegrounds prizes will be available, including new preview figures and foil Action Bar cards.
