Evan's top ten list of Characters This is the top ten characters that I find to be the most useful in their decks. 10. Wolverine, Logan: One of my favorite types of characters are undercosted beatsticks that will deal a lot of damage for a small drawback. Wolverine's shouldn't even count as a drawback because 9 out of 10 times you are going to play the card that you revealed on your next turn. 9. Senator Kelly, Anti Mutant Advocate: He is one of the reasons why the sentinal decks are so good. He has the ability to do at least 5 or more damage each turn and combined with other copies and Reconstruction Program, Its possible to do on the uperside of 20 damage in one turn. 8. Quicksilver, Speed Demon: This speedy character is the second best character in all of those stupid brotherhood decks. With the ability to attack twice a turn while pumped up with the new brotherhood, he can take out many of the games 6 or 7 drops, not that the game is going to last your opponent long enough to play them. 7. Nightcrawler, Fuzzy Elf: Nightcrawler is probaly the best x-man in the game. For a couple of endurance, he can ensure that your strongest character attacks who he needs to. The reason that this guy doesn't rate higher on the list is because the x-men deck is just a sub-par deck waiting to be broken. Once the x-men get better, expect to be seeing lots of Nightcrawler. 6. Thing, Heavy Hitter: This guy is the strongest 5 drop in the game, and while powered up with Its Clobbering time or Savage beatdown, he is a force to be reconed with. Any FF Beats deck that doesn't run Thing, is losing lots of power. 5. Human Torch, Hotshot: FLAME ON!!! This guy is simply amazing. He can deal a direct 5 endurance loss just by exhausting. The fact that he has flight and range is just amazing. He would be playable even if he were a 5 drop. 4. Hulk, New Fantastic Four: The Hulk is hands down the best FF character to date. On turn 6 when you play him he useually has about 15 attack and can have a possible 18. I'm sure that every FF Beats player would agree with me in saying that the games that you don't have the Hulk are useually the games that you lose. 3. Dr. Doom, Diabolic Genious: Doom is the Combo King! I mean what combo deck right now doesn't run at least 2 of him. His ablility to get another use out of a plot twist is great but his ability to deny your opponents plot twists gives them a lot less versitility. I expect Dr. Doom to be played in almost all of the combo decks in the near future. 2. Sntinal Mark IV: At four cost, he can easily get into double digit power with those 20+ wild sentinals that you are most likely running in your deck. Mark IV is what makes the sentinal deck good. If he were unique, he probaly wouln't rank this high for two reasons. One, you wouldn't be able to play 10+ in your deck and two, you wouln't be able to have like 4 in play at 10+ a time and attack for 50 each turn. 1. Sabertooth, Farel Rage: Did I mention how I liked undercosted beat sticks with small drawbacks? Well this guy fits the bill perfectly. At 11/7 with possibly more attack curtesy of The New Brotherhood, It doesn't matter that he loses you card advantage, it doesn't matter that he doesn't have flight or range. All that matters is that you will be attacking for 11 on turn 4.
