Beta Club

Beta Club..now here is a card with potential...if it wasn't for the fact the team kind of sucks. Granted is you team up Darkseid with something powerful and/or tricky this could be a real asset. Beta Club can only be equipped to a DS character. When that character stuns your opponent's character they take an additional stun loss. Nice...especially considering it is free.

Ratings:
DCMA constructed - 3.5/5.0 ...Find a worthwhile way to team up DS with something and play this card!

GA constructed - 2.5/5.0 ...Unfortunately DS or even a variation of DS won't stand up in this format.

Limited - 3.0/5.0 ...This card is worthwhile in this format if you can get the DS character to go with it.

Beta Club

Beta Club looks like a good card on the surface, turning any character into 5 drop Batman. However, being team stamped to Darkseid's Elite will limit the amount of play it receives. This is more of a Sealed card, where Devilance is one of the best 5 drops in the set, and you can do massive amounts of extra damage with him. Equipment has to be essential to a deck's working to make the cut in a PC deck, and this just isn't as essential as a character, location, or plot twist, especially with the new format.
Mono-Darkseid isn't strong enough to be competitive, and teaming them up with something else means making room in the deck for teamups, meaning that there won't be any room for Beta Club.

Rating: 2/5

Beta Club
Number: DSM-121
Rarity: Uncommon
Card Type: Equipment
Cost: 0
Equip only to a Darkseid's Elite character.

Whenever equipped character stuns a
defender, that character's controller loses endurance equal to that character's cost.

Cost: 0
Bargan-rate prices, here.

Effect:
Gives a burn damage effect when equiped character stuns someone. Not too bad.

Team Affiliation: Darkseid's Elite
This team likes burn damage, and this effect is one of the more reasonable cards with this effect for the team.

Overall:
Not the worst card, and if you team attack a strong character, you can do some hefty damage. This card is basically free to use, so it's worth including in a D's E deck.
5.0/5.0

Modern Age:
If you're gutsy enough to play a D's E deck, then I highly recommend packing in a few Beta Clubs for that extra pinch of damage.
5.0/5.0

Golden Age:
Same here.
5.0/5.0

Limited:
Take it only if you get enough D's e characters to use it on.
3.5/5.0

Sith Dragon Beta club
equip
cost:1
affiliation: Darkside's elite

Whenever equipped character stuns a defender, that character's controller loses endurance equal to that character's cost.

Today's equip is actually pretty good. Its only real drawback is that you can only use it on Darkside's elite characters. other than that its a zero cost, which is always good, and you get the five drop Batman's effect of inflicting extra damage when you stun a character, on later drops that can really put some separation between you and your opponent. if you are running the Darkside team this card is pretty powerful and id run 2-3 depending on what kind of room you have. A very solid equip.

"Are you threatening me, Master Jedi?"
