If you want to play the Fantastic one, you have 3 options - Common, Uncommon, and Rare.  The Rare one is best, right?  Wrong!  You need to do something more spectacular than play things for 2 less in the 7 drop.  It's stats are mediocre for a 7 drop as well.  The uncommon one is far superior, and even the common one I find more useful.  Try playing those.

In limited, you play 7 drops, regardless.  You have to curve.  If Mr. Fantastic is your option, so be it.

While he's not the greatest pick for a Fantastic Four deck, he's not horrible.  If you can't pick up better 7 drops, then he can serve you.  The problem with him is, in a highly competitive field, other 7 drops will outshine this guy.  If you're playing in a casual environment, that's fine, but if you're playing tournaments, get some $ together and look for something better.

In limited, he's not great, but he's big. Big is good in limited. ANYthing big. Play him.

Wed. Mr. Fantastic, Scientific Genius
Mr. Fantastic has the lowest stats in the game so far for a 7 drop, though I think he may be somewhat useful. The first time I looked at him I didn't think much of him, then I saw a Fantastic Four deck in action. He isn't very key to the deck but of all the decks I can see the FF deck being able to last the longest and having the most control thus being able to take advantage of higher cost characters. Though there are many other cards that are more useful then him I think playing 2 might not be bad. At worst you can use him to power up Mr. Fantastic, Stretch who I think is much more useful in play.

In limited the only thing going for him is that there are only nine seven drops in the game so getting him isn't terrible, but his ability is almost useless. At worst he is a 14 14 for 7

In all just an average to sub-par card.

As a side note I would like to add that my picture is hideous. Thanks Scott!
I'll get a better more up to date picture for you guys so you don't have to look at such an ugly mug.

I can't give Mr. Fantastic, Scientific Genius too high of a rating, just
because he is a 7-Drop, and he's not even in the Top 5 in the game. On top
of this, he's only a 14/14, which makes him the owner of the smallest ATK on
a 7-Drop *and* the second smallest DEF on a 7-Drop (Top Honors go to
Wolverine, Berserker Rage). On the upside, you get to go get a piece of
equipment to make him better and said equipment will be free with his
ability. However, I still don't think he's worth it, especially since the
Fantastic Four have a much better option in Thing, the Ever-Lovin' Blue-Eyed
Thing.

In limited, where 7-Drops are hard to come by, you definitely pick him up
first (unless there is an obscenely good alternative, like Savage Beatdown).
He's still large and if your opponent has nothing to counter with, you'll
more than likely be winning shortly.

The best thing about this character is that he pretty much makes your equipment free, but when it comes to Mr. Fantastics this one is my least favorite one. I think Mr. Fantastic, Reed Richards and Mr. Fantastic, Stretch are a lot better than this character. They drop earlier, and their effects are pretty good. The fact that I’m not a big fan when it comes to the Fantastic 4 doesn’t help either. Besides, this character’s stats are way below for your average 7 drop…. And he calls himself Mr. Fantastic. -_-;

Limited

Yeah… I think this poor guy gets worst in limited because you probably won’t see those many equipments and won’t want to play the ones with a cost that he may actually affect. The only “good” things about him are his high stats compared to everything else in this format. Poppy
