Today we’re looking at the Top 10 YuGiOh card sales in recent months on eBay. These are the actual Top 10 most valuable cards based on actual “Sold” prices on eBay.
#1 – Blue Eyes White Dragon 1st Edition Beckett 9.5 LOB-001
Sold March 2021 for $32,000
I feel that Beckett and CGC 9.5’s are essentially the same grades as PSA 10’s. Especially when you see 9.5’s and 10’s in the subgrades.
#2 – 2002 Dark Duel Stories Promo Blue-Eyes White Dragon DDS-001 PSA 10
Sold February 2021 for $25,100
Dark Duel Stories was packaged with variable promo cards. If you were lucky, this promo BEWD was in your copy.
#3 – Blue-Eyes White Dragon 2002 SDK-E001 1st Edition PSA 10
Sold March 2021 for $25,000
This Blue Eyes White Dragon was found in the European versions of the Kaiba Starter Decks.
#4 – PSA 10 1st Edition Blue Eyes White Dragon Starter Deck Kaiba (SDK-001)
Sold April 2021 for $25,000
This Blue Eyes White Dragon was found in the North American versions of the First Edition Kaiba Starter Decks.
#5 – PSA 10 Doomcaliber Knight SJCS-EN006 Ultra Rare Limited Edition BGS 9.5

This is a Limited Edition Ultra Rare card from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Shonen Jump Championship Series. As I stated above … 9.5 is an amazing grade. PSA does not assign 9.5 grades and most likely would round this up to a 10.
#6 – Yu-Gi-Oh Cyber Dragon MF03-EN009 Mattel Promo Series 3 Action Figures

This is a strange card. Here are details from this eBay Auction: “This auction is for the limited-edition Cyber Dragon MF03-EN009. This card was released as part of the Mattel Promo Series 3 Action Figures (Sears Exclusive) about 15 years ago but was supposedly cancelled and pulled off the shelves, making this card almost impossible to find. This card is known as the holy grail to some in the YuGiOh community. This card was rumored to never exist. This will be, as of now, the ONLY copy of the Cyber Dragon in parallel rarity.”
#7 – 2003 Dark Magician Girl Magician Force 1st Edition MFC-000 PSA 10 GEM

This was the first appearance of Dark Magician Girl in North America. Just a fantastic card to have in your collection in any grade! A great collectible for years to come!
#8 – Crush Card Virus – PSA 4 – SJCS-EN004 – Shonen Jump Championship Prize card
Sold May 2021 for $19,500
This card was only a PSA 4! What would a PSA 9 or 10 sell for?
#9 – Magician’s Force 1st Ed Dark Paladin Correct Art #MFC-105 BGS 10
Sold March 2021 for $18,100
The Dark Paladin card from Magician’s Force has two versions of artwork. You can read a great history of this on Reddit in a post by AzulRyu. This a very cool looking card.
#10 – Cyber-Stein SJC-EN001 Ultra Rare Limited Edition PSA 8 NM-MT
Sold March 2021 for $15,100
This auction was for the Limited Edition Ultra Rare Cyber-Stein (SJC-EN001) from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Shonen Jump Championship Series 2004.
Final Thoughts
The two things that stick out to me here are:
- Where is Dark Magician?
- Where is Exodia?
Well, a BGS 9.5 Dark Magician from the LOB set sold for $12,000 in March 2021. And a PSA 9 Head of Exodia (Exodia The Forbidden One LOB-124) sold for $6900 in April 2021.
