It’s lucky that this was released at the same time so much support came out to build equipe gauge, because in all honesty I would have given this a pass otherwise. Do keep in mind you generally won’t be standing three rear-guards all the time, you’ll mostly be trying to shoot for two on average. It’s not the best idea to try and spam the first skill just to gain equip gauge for cards either despite the fact it’s not once per turn, because Tachikaze doesn’t plus that fast, or if it does, it’s through cards like Blightops that add the equip gauge to the hand.

At least the 5k regardless of how many you stand is pretty free otherwise. So all in all, he works, but my god does the build have to be very dedicated. And I’m not all for dedicated build unless the end result is something amazing.

3/5
