doc Today we look at the rare Banker character The Garbageman.

And this guys got nothing to do with garbage at all.

This 2 cost 2 threshold character joins the Erotic Assassin as the only characters that can be restored by a means other than the “Restore rule” of a faction card. While paying 2 and removing 3 cards from your discard pile is certainly a higher cost than just paying 2 for the Erotic Assassin, The Garbageman can be restored normally by your faction’s “Restore rule”. Used with a few Selective Gluttonies, you’ll get plenty of use out of this ability.

His first ability, deplete him to draw a card followed by discarding a card, is yet another weapon in the Banker stable of card drawers. Combined with Beatrix Winterbottom and/or Gold Summit and your drawing multiple cards and gaining lots of influence.

Remember, even though you can restore him outside of the normal start of turn procedures, he can attack only once per turn.

In limited, he’ll be depleted at the opponents EOT more often than not. In constructed, you’ll be able to maximize all his abilities.

Ian Spiegel The Garbageman

Today we look at the Banker character The Garbageman.

Is it just me, or does this guy sound like he could star in his own horror flick? Stealing dead bodies from the garbage, or something like that?

Scary.

Anyway, he costs two with two Banker threshold, sporting one strength, three life and three speed. He's an efficient two cost character on his own, able to stand up to most Warlord removal. However, his ability is what makes him a rare.

He allows to you deplete him to draw a card, and then discard card. He also allows you to remove three cards in your opponents discard pile from the game to undeplete him.

Thats a lot of draw power, friends.

In constructed, he'll find his place next to Ms. Winterbottom, I'm sure. And in limited, he'll be a welcome card to any deck under the Banker persuasion.

Limited: 4
Constructed: 3.5
